The media makes a big deal over the fact that the millennials are the first generation that will not do better than previous generations but that is not true. We actually peaked with the greatest generation. The boomers would do better than their so called greatest parents because both boomer husband and wife worked!

However my wife and I we’re an exception to this rule as she stayed home and raised our 3 kids. They would go on to earn a total of 3 bachelor degrees, 5 master degrees and 1 PhD between them! The best long term investment we ever made! My kids generation not only were the first latch key generation but half were from one parent households given the high divorce rates of the time! Between the housing bubble and the pandemic only those millennials practicing polygamy are going to do better than their boomer parents.

And that is all I’m going to say about that!

 

The world is dominated by tactical doers who generally only see what is right in front of them. When you consider the level of disruption that is happening in the world, in the valley of the blind the one eyed country is king! This is too say that the country that has implemented the smartest long term strategy is going to occupy the high ground when this disruption comes to a conclusion.

I remember Bush 41 going to Japan to ask their Prime Minister to buy more American cars. The Prime Minister pointed out that Japan drove on the other side of the road and Detroit did not make any cars with the steering wheel on the correct side. Bush’s effective response was to literally vomit all over his Japanese counterpart. Today, Trump’s strategy is to shit all over everyone. American democracy has gone strategically from bad to worse!

 State and individual sponsored hackers are attacking both personal and business computer systems in an effort to undercut our digital strengths. Recently a Florida city paid a $600,000 ransom in order to retrieve city records. This was on top of $1 million they spent for new computers and hardware! This kind of successful economic assault on our digital technology will impact on our success in this area and could ultimately impact our economy!      

Frankly begs the question why the FEDS would allow Cities or anyone else’s for that matter to pay any kind of ransom, its not like its a life or death situation. In the end all it does is to encourage computernappers to attempt more of these shakedowns! The more success they have the weaker our strength becomes.

And that is all going to say about that! 

 

Everyone has their own ideas as to what reasonable is. As for me I have no proof that Al Capone killed anyone but I’m pretty sure he did! Hell I’m even sure that there is more than one person out there who still thinks O.J. is innocent! Some require a smoking  gun while others demand DNA in order to overcome any reasonable doubt.

Increasingly the better safe than sorry folks are taking a back seat to the benefit of the doubt folks. The better safe than sorry crowd are being portrayed by the left as either racist or nationalist or both. The giving the benefit of the doubt crowd are the great grandkids of the folks that ruled America in the 1930’s. Who knows maybe they will get it right this time!

So the Speaktress of the House Pelosi calls POTUS Trump morbidly obese which is a bit of the kettle calling the pot black! I remember ten years ago topping off at 210 pounds and my doctor calling me morbidly obese. When I asked about what the 300 and 400 pounders were called he said dead people walking although many were actually riding around in one of those powered scooters.

We are the fattest nation on the planet and I have no problem with fat shaming which is exactly what the medical profession was doing to me when I weighed in at 210. The fact is it worked and I made permanent changes to my eating habits and have weighed in at 175 for sometime now. No question that a few have a food addiction but no all.

And that is all I’m going to say about that!

 

So the morally superior career democrat congressional politicians passed the largest single budget bill in history for 3 trillion dollars. All of which they are expecting our grandkids to pay for. I think it is great that we are doing all of these wonderful things to help people thru the current pandemic. But I also believe that it is morally bankrupt to impose this cost on our yet to be born voters.

Whatever became of the Tea Party? They completely disappeared once they understood that their Republican party elders which also included Trump no longer cared about paying down the debt. Both parties have played a large hand in the legal decadence and financial decline of the American Empire!

My business mentor used to say to never confuse effort with result. You could be the hardest working person on the planet but if your not getting the desired result than what good are you? While the West is very much focused on having the fairest process the East is more focused on getting the best result!

This becomes very obvious when you consider the relative death tolls stemming from the latest Chinese Virus. The West has expended a tremendous amount of effort in attempting to control the spread of the virus with Melinda Gates rightly criticizing the 51 different methods being used in the USA (50 States and Federal Government). Asia, on the other hand has gotten significantly better results as clearly demonstrated by South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Every hundred years or so our democratic system seems to fails us. In the 1850’s we saw the emergence of a third party escape valve with the establishment of the Republican Party lead by Abraham Lincoln. Over the succeeding hundred years the establishment democrat/republican career politicians have done much harm in allowing our democracies escape valve ability to function properly!

Every hundred years or so capitalism seems to fail us. Along came Democrat FDR who employed government sponsored escape valves to save it from itself. Bloomberg would have done this as well but the Democrats have rejected capitalism for socialism. Unfortunately the Republicans are incapable of saving it other than for themselves. No future 3rd Party Lincoln’s will emerge to save us!

I remember when this pandemic first started that a married bisexual guy went to a NYC bath house where he picked up the AIDS virus. He went home where he passed it on to his wife who in turn passed it on to the next door neighbor, that she was having an affair with! The neighbor in turn then passed it on to his wife. Within 6 months all four were dead. At the time William F Buckley “suggested” that any gay person with the Virus should have it tattooed on their ass.

The current pandemic was apparently started by someone in China eating a bat (no not the baseball kind). Like Buckley, I think any and all bat eaters should be required to be tattooed on their forehead BAT EATER. These folks should then be banned from entering the USA! Unfortunately many are already USA citizens having been born here but taken right back to China shortly after birth.

Leastwise this is what the Demmy’s wanted you to think. They stole the election for Trump but let’s face it the media on the left thought they were so successful in stealing it for Hillary that many of her supporters just stayed home believing she already had the election in the bag.

Any wonder that this country can’t keep anything secret plus on the very same day Biden unmasked Flynn the Washington Post publishes a story about all of this. Pathetic, do the career politicians in this country really care about the the USA or are they all just on a power trip?

These tests have been under attack over the last several years. Early on they were a problem for our education professionals as test scores were declining as against previous generation test scores. The teachers union fixed this by having the test scored differently so that no direct comparisons could be made.

Now there is a push to eliminate there use for college admissions. This of course is crazy because everyone in high school gets A’s or is on some form of the honor roll(honors, high honors, highest honors). You get rid of the SAT’s and you lose all ability to separate the wheat from the chaff but then that is exactly the point. This is nothing more than a college for all scam conducted by the Demmy’s who are also pushing for free college as well! More importantly both Black and Hispanic Democrats score lower on the SAT’s than White and Asian’s folks. Lastly it solves the inner City educational SAT disparity which helps the Demmy allied Teacher Unions.

And that is all I’m going to say about that.

 

Fired General Mattis, fired General McChyristal, fired General Flynn. Who is Obama. He would fail to cross the red line he drew in Syria and all hell would break loose in the Middle East. General Mattis resigned, General Kelly resigned, General Flynn resigned. Who is Trump. He gave up the Golan Heights, the West Bank and Jerusalem and all hell will eventually break loose in the Middle East.

Perhaps someone else can put Humpty Dumpty back together again there, as the USA continues to make a bigger mess of it under both of these C in C’s. Our long term middle eastern strategy is as clear as mud. All of which does not let the former C in C Bush 43 off the hook Or the future C in C Biden!

Very likely the Democrats will control the House of Reps, the Senate, and the White House come January 2021. Trump and the Republican controlled Senate were going to have a hard time of winning even before the pandemic hit. If the Demmy’s do not have a filibuster proof majority in the Senate they will most certainly kill what remains of it.

This will be the beginning of the end of the republic and capitalism. A worst case pandemic coupled with a global depression will accelerate the move to a full blown socialist democratic society. Say goodbye to the Electoral College as well! Say hello to slave reparations, life long welfare allotments, Medicare for most, and free college education.

I knew a self proclaimed Don Juan whose’s strategy for getting laid was to go ugly early. Seemed that good looking ladies required way too much work with no gratification guarantee at the end of the night. Perhaps had Weinstein pursued the same strategy it would have gone better for him.

Question? What are things that happen every hundred years or so. Pretty soon Nancy Pelosi’s hometown San Francisco will be facing all three. Will see how well prepared they are but I will say that given the size of the population of California they have done a relatively better job of dealing with the Coronavirus, as compared to New York.

When you also factor in Climate Change, A.I., and the emergence of China our kids and grandkid are facing several extremely challenging environments. Because democracies are dominated by small picture, short term, tactical doers (as opposed to big picture, long term, strategic thinkers) this level of disruption could very likely overwhelm the democratic process in the West.

I’m a white collar professional who is still working and receiving a bonus check from the Federal Government. Makes absolutely no sense but the politicians on the right are making sure that I vote for them. The other day I was behind a blue collar worker at the local gas station and the store owner asked him how he was doing. He said great because between his unemployment check and and the bonus check from DC he was making more money than when he was working! Way to go lefties!

What a great country we live in that our professional politicians give their voters such filthy lucre. As a result we will be adding even more trillions of debt to the existing trillions that we are already in hock for. I want to thank my grandkids for their largesse as they are the ones who are funding all of this insanity.

When the TSA was created, instead of adding this cost to the price of a ticket it was buried into the tax code. That of course meant that people who didn’t fly at all or not often were picking up some of the cost of the TSA for folks that flew a lot. Great for frequent flyers and the airlines, not so great for non flyer tax payers. Plus no real reason not to have added this cost directly to the ticket price of all flyers!

All that said have you ever wondered how much faster it would be to get thru TSA if everyone had to check their baggage? How about how much time could be saved by this when enplaning and deplaning without bags? What about how much safer it might be if all baggage was checked?

Frankly tragic that the family has to keep relearning that they are cursed! But the succeeding generations have increasingly become a big hot mess and it don’t smell exactly like Chanel #2 either. If you’re smart you’ll think about getting into a car or plane with one, ski or take drugs with one, let your young daughter babysit or marry one either! If there was a Profiles in Stupidity award my vote would be for Bobby Jr whose position on vaccines has even been criticized by some of the smarter members of his own family. I really hope that if a vaccine is developed for the Coronavirus that Junior is put at the end of the line! That said the Kennedy’s are way over rated as a political dynasty and apparently not even smart enough to understand that they are jinxed. Is it arrogance, ego, or just plain stupidity?

The official newspaper of the Democrat party recommends that the democrat party investigate their fellow democrat and future democrat Presidential nominee Joe Biden for any sexual harassment claims. This after the two most powerful demmy woman in the party  Hillary and Nancy have already given creepy Joe a pass. Yup that works. For Joe that is.

What needs to happen is that the Biden Senate papers which were bought and paid for by US taxpayers should be open for review immediately. US Senators should not own these documents and this rule or law should be challenged by the Times and every other media outlet. It was very clear from Joe’s recent interview with Mika “My daddy was a Demmy” Brzezinski, that Biden doesn’t want anyone going anywhere near them.

The ASPCA has been spending big bucks on ads lately, pulling hard on people’s heart strings. All of which reminds me of the three dogs that were being held at the local vet hospital.

Dog #1 asked Dog #2 what he was in for? Dog #2 said that his owners had a new baby and when it reached for one of his dog toys he bit it. The owners then brought him in to have him put down. Dog #2 then asked Dog #1 what he was in for? Dog #1 said that he had taken a crap on his owners new and very expensive oriental carpet and they had also brought him in to be put down! Then Dog’s #1 and #2 both asked Dog #3 what he was in for? Dog #3 said that when his young female owner was washing dishes in the nude, he mounted her and wham, bam thank you ma’am. The two Dogs said wow she’s putting you down for that? Oh no replied Dog #3 I’m in for a shampoo and to my have nails clipped!

Frankly an amazing double standard between how the Demmy’s and their media allies handled the Kavanaugh and Biden sex scandals. Hillary who completely enabled her husband’s womanizing and the Speaker of the House Pelosi who gave Hillary’s husband a pass on impeachment are doing the same for Creepy Joe!

Biden conducted his own investigation by talking to former Senate staff who didn’t “recall” the victim ever complaining to them about Joe putting his fingers into her vagina. Does seem like you would remember (or not) being told something like this and it makes you wonder why they didn’t say that it never happened as opposed to not recalling it. Kind of like Clinton not “recalling” the blow jobs that Monica had given him. The perfect lawyer strategy which of course both Clinton and Biden are!

Perhaps in the not so distant future we will all be persons of no color! Until then those differences will be politically exploited one way or the other. Thank God that the black community chose to follow Martin Luther King instead of the Black Panthers in the Sixties.

As the pandemic and accompanying economic depression increase the level of black anger in this country due to higher black deaths and lower black incomes the 6400 dollar question then becomes, will they chose to follow someone like Obama or someone like the Reverend Al?

The five stages are denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance are a part of the framework that makes up our learning to live with what we have lost with this pandemic. We went thru the denial period of hoping it wouldn’t happen here and are now becoming increasingly angry about the poor response to it! As the body count increases we will become very angry. Some will blame Trump, some China and some God.

The real bargaining will begin this Fall as the Virus rears it’s ugly head again accompanied by a massive global economic depression. Acceptance won’t begin until the pandemic runs it course, perhaps by the Spring of 2022 or if the global depression ends which ever happens first.

Currently the medical community is driving the cure for the pandemic which they do not have, other than social distancing. This in turn has shutdown huge swathes of the worlds economy pushing unemployment rates to record levels. In turn the world is expending huge amounts of cash to finance this distancing effort!

Once we run out of this cash the West will be even more broke than it was before the Virus unless the economy is back up and running like it had been. As that is not likely to happen, many companies will not be surviving or even paying back the rescue money they were given. In turn the world’s poor will get poorer with many surviving the pandemic but not surviving the resulting starvation and poverty. When that begins to happen in earnest likely this fall our medical experts should be forced to take a back seat to longer term global economic and survival challenges.

So creepy Joe has run for President three times now and finally has a shot at grabbing the brass ring. No surprise here because when he was elected to the US Senate in November of 1972 he chose to serve the people as opposed to his two hospitalized sons who had just lost their mother and sister in December of that same year. Yes, a very harsh assessment but the stark reality for Joe was to either focus on his kids or focus on his career and he chose the later! Clearly was not the best choice for his youngest son, Hunter.

The reality is that Joe is nothing but ambitious and it was that ambition that drove him to make the very same mistake two other very ambitious democrats made. This huge strategic Iraqi War vote blunder would effectively cost both Kerry and Clinton the Presidency. Not only is Joe a pro but he is a way nicer guy than Trump. Unfortunately for America a President Biden will move us closer to last place!

Otherwise known as International Socialists. Their ultimate goal is to rule the world and to eliminate any and all forms of nationalism. While this is a lofty goal you have to wonder just how close they are to actually achieving this when they are nowhere close to imposing a climate change or pandemic fix on all of us. The Paris climate accord doesn’t even work in Paris!

But as the West continues it’s decline there will be increasing calls by it for an international solution to fix global problems that they no longer have the resources to fix by themselves. The ascendency of the East, who for the last millennia has been the West’s whipping boy will more likely impose a solution that maximizes their own expanding nationalistic political and economics goals.

Lost a High School classmate to a motorcycle accident. Twenty years later we had a young kid come with his mother into the factory I ran looking for work. He had been in a motorcycle accident and had scrambled his brains. Unfortunately he couldn’t physically do the light assembly work we needed. Fifteen years later we knew someone who knew someone that had purchased a bike. A month later the husband was killed and his wife broke just about every bone in her body. A new driver coming out of a side street pulled out in front of them because he had been blinded by the sun! (Just like what happened to George Clooney)

Driving home on the highway the other day my wife surprised by a speeding bike screamed as it went roaring past us at about 100 mph. The State I live in mandates wearing seatbelts but there are none on motorcycles. My car has to be crash tested for occupancy safety but as far as I know there aren’t required crash tests for bikes. The State used to require helmets but rescinded this law when bikers pushed back. NUTS!!!

My Asian slurp and burp store owner says Tank You to me every time I purchase something from him also. These are very hard working folks who will make America great again, at least for themselves anyway.

Growing up with two German born grandparents they spoke broken English and mispronounced words also. My father who came to this country at the age of two entered first grade not speaking a word of English. I imagine with the very German first name of Deiter that it was difficult for him during World War Two as well. But as they say if it doesn’t kill you it can only make you stronger!

As I emerged thru puberty I increasingly became the man of pink steel. My blood flow went permanently from my big head to my little head and as a result I became stupider and stupider. There are some who think that we are either not members of the animal kingdom or are at the very top of it. During my middle school years you could have fooled me either way.

I met my future wife during those years and paid no attention to her until the very beginning of our Senior year when in walked the most beautiful swan I had ever seen. She would be voted most beautiful in our class later that year. Over the last 40 odd years that we have been married my blood flow gradually went back to my big head. Only then did I finally realize just how lucky an ugly duckling I had been that she had chosen me as her mate for life!

There is an old joke about President Reagan sitting next to Bubba Smith at a dinner banquet and the President asked Smith if it was true that black men were well hung. Smith told Reagan that it was and when Ronnie asked him why, Bubba told him that every night before he went to bed he gave his penis a big rap against the bedpost. When Reagan got back to the White House late that night he could hear the First Lady snoring in bed. So he decided to give his penis a big hard rap against the bedpost, where upon Nancy woke up and asked “is that you Bubba?”

During the US election of 1972 demmy nominee George McGovern made the argument that as Vietnam was a Civil War we had no right to be involved there. I remember after Watergate seeing bumper stickers that said don’t blame be I’m from Massachusetts. I didn’t have one of those because even though I was from there, I had voted for Tricky Dicky. Yup I own that one!

Some 22 years later their was another Civil War that the demmy President Slick Willie did not get involved with which unfortunately turned into a genocide! Don’t recall ever seeing any bumper stickers that said blame me I’m from Massachusetts. I didn’t vote for Clinton so I don’t own that one! But hey unlike Nixon, he did admit his mistake in allowing the Genocide in Rawanda!

And not the one you wish for! The world was caught flat footed by Covid 19. There have been over 100,000 deaths in the former EU (includes UK). While in the USA there have been over 40,000 deaths. China deaths where this all started is reported to be less than 5000. Their respective populations are 500 million, 330 million and 1.5 billion. So it would appear that the Chinese dictator did a way better job of waging war against the Virus then the democracies did!

Should it reappear later this year without any kind of solutions or fixes for it the democracies may want to consider suspending their constitutions (marshal law) in an all out effort to save lives. The Chinese would be doing the same if in fact they had a constitution which of course they don’t! Let’s not let them do a better job the next time around.

If Trump doesn’t have the authority to open the States did he have the authority to close them? It appears that the Governors are deciding when to open them so did the Governors have the authority to close them? If so was Cuomo too slow in closing New York City? Or was that Mayor De Blasio’s call to shutdown the City? Has NYC or even the State of New York been shutdown?

Currently Cuomo and De Blasio are fighting over when the NYC schools will open with the Governor telling the Mayor that he is the decider. In fact it wasn’t until April 15th that the Governor mandated wearing face masks and yet mainstream media on the left is raving about his pandemic performance. Has the media forgotten that his State has the highest body count. But hey his performance giving interviews with his brother is wonderful!

An accepted practice by many countries over the millennia, the last country outlawed it in 1982. The fact is that whites enslaved whites, blacks enslaved blacks and the very first slave holders in America were Native American Indians. Perhaps the Indians should use some of their casino money to compensate their formerly enslaved red people? In order to have an objective discussion on American Slavery one needs to understand it in its larger context!

In the black community we have had an influential convicted black person advocating for the black community to take increasing responsibility and control over their lives while another influential convicted black person is advocating that the black community take a slave reparations check instead. At the end of the day White Americans need to do a much better job of finally integrating it’s black citizens which is long over due! But throwing money at folks who were never slaves is just another form of income redistribution.

Saw Doris Kearns Goodwin on C-SPAN discussing her book about FDR. She said that FDR had a adulterous relationship with Lucy Mercer for 2-3 years. In fact Mercer was with FDR when he died. Anyway during the war to end all wars FDR was the assistant Secretary of the Navy just like cousin Teddy had been. While visiting the UK, FDR received a number of love letters from Lucy.

So here is Franklin cheating on Eleanor with her own social secretary and what does FDR do? He saves Juicy Lucy’s letters and brings them back across the pond. Not only that but having packed them in his suitcase Franklin now lets Eleanor unpack them only to learn that her husband was boinking the help. But Doris maintains that Franklin’s intent was not to leave his wife because he loved her. If that’s the case than FDR has strange way of showing it.

The left in the USA point to the UK National Health System (NHS) as an amazing example of how Healthcare should work in America. The Royals are shown coming out of one but of course they use the  “private” NHS wing which is where the Rich and Royals get their healthcare. Everyone else comes out of the public NHS wing!

In the USA no congressional democrats signed up for Obamacare (not even Barack, Bernie, Biden, or Betsy) and once the democrats eventually take away all our private healthcare plans to fund their misleading Medicare for ALL plan the POLS won’t be on Medicare then either! The rich and influential in the USA will have the same private healthcare that the rich and influential have in the UK. Way better for them then the rest of us! As someone has said if you think healthcare is expensive today wait until it’s free!

The question is? Is someone more American than another American? I suppose it depends on what standard is being applied here? For example Julius Rosenberg was born in America like me, but I wouldn’t consider him to be a better American than myself. I know someone who was born in America but also holds a Canadian passport. They may not be less of an American than I am, but I do think that having only a US passport makes me more of an American then they are.

How can that be? Well if things shit to bed in this country unlike the Canadian/American I don’t have a plan B. If the Canadian American wants to get rid of their Canadian passport and join me completely in America’s bed than they become 100% American just like I am. But what about all of those Asian folks who come here to have their kids but then return to Asia with their American born? Are those kids as American as I am? Nope! And yes, Congress needs to fix this! Just don’t hold your breath that Pelosi and Schumer will do that anytime soon.

The media is famous for publishing bad news. As they say if it bleeds it leads. Applying the 80/20 rule, 80% of the mainstream media leans left while 20% leans right. Therefore the overwhelming percentage of blood that is being reported will be on the rights hands while only 20% of the blood will be on the left’s hands!

Now this does not necessarily mean that it is fake news but rather that the disproportionate media bias advantage of the left overwhelms reality. For example in the early 1800’s this media bias lead people to believe that Jefferson was Adam’s superior and while Jefferson was clearly the superior politician, Adams was by far the superior person.

So Jamie Dimon the CEO of JP Morgan Chase is predicting another recession on the scale of the last one in 2008. Dimon does not want to use the D word and especially the G.D word. But watch closely how Italy and Spain recover financially or not as they are the EU canary’s in the mine.

The housing bubble was created by Democrats Barney Frank and Chris Dodd when they pressured the banks to eliminate Red Lining, which fellow democrat Bloomberg blamed it on. The elimination of Glass Steagall didn’t help either! The Democrats then fixed the Great Recession by pushing the Fed to spend 4 trillion dollars on buying up mortgages. All of this will push the West into a G.D. Depression.

The CEO of Blackstone has compared the times we live in the USA as being similar to America in the 1850’s. The 1850’s were pro-slavery versus pro-abolition while today it is pro-capitalism versus pro-socialism. This issue is being driven by a combination of globalization and technological advances. As a result declining income distribution coupled with declining incomes in general is driving both left and right to their extreme positions.

CEO Schwarzman believes that the decline in education excellence in the USA has exacerbated this downward trend. While he is correct the increasing dominance of democrat lead teachers unions will continue to accelerate this downward trend. A global depression will rout any remaining capitalist support in the USA. The West lead by America will then take a back seat to the East lead by China. Ironically democrat Bloomberg would have done a better job of saving capitalism in America than republican Trump has!

An official in a government department, in particular one perceived as being concerned with procedural correctness at the expense of people’s needs. I remember the head bureaucrat of the US Federal Aviation being told by his political boss to shut down all incoming flights on 9/11. The bureaucrat’s CYA response was that he did not have the authority to do that! Where upon his superior told him that if there were any more plane crashes it would be on his head! Yup he closed the airports!

So the bureaucrats at the CDC wanted to develop their own test for the Coronavirus instead of using the one that had already been developed by the World Health Organization while only using their own labs. This not only slowed things down but exacerbated an emerging pandemic. The bigger the government gets the more bureaucrats will screw things up in order to protect THEIR own turf!

And that is all I’m going to say about that!

New York all by itself has taken the worlds lead in Coronavirus deaths and sicknesses. One extreme is that this was all Trumps doing while the other extreme is that it was all Cuomo’s fault. It does beg the question why other states like California, Illinois, or Washington have not experienced the same degree of sickness or death.

You can be sure that the New York Times will place the entire blame on the other New Yorker instead. This is because the NY governor is being discussed as a future US President and the Times effectively only endorse Democrats, especially New York ones. The Chinese did lockdown Wuhan perhaps Cuomo should have done the same, but of course had he done that nobody would be talking about him for the Presidency.

That said I must admit that I’m only a twice a year church attendee and even a lady Pope might be way too little way too late to save me!

The Spanish flu burned itself out in the spring of 2019 when humans developed herd immunity. That is to say that all of the vulnerable humans had died off and what remained were people who could withstand the flu. Once that happened the flu had nowhere to go and it disappeared. 99% of these fatalities were under the age of 65 with half being between 20 to 40 years old.

The majority of Coronavirus fatalities on the other hand are people aged 60 and over. This group in general is sucking more resources out of society than contributing to it. So culling this part of the herd is in the long run less financially painful then those who were culled by the Spanish Flu.

There were 3 different waves of illness during the Spanish pandemic, starting in March 1918 and subsiding by the summer of 1919. The pandemic peaked in the U.S. during the second wave, in the fall of 1918. This highly fatal second wave was responsible for most of the U.S. deaths attributed to the pandemic. A third wave of illness occurred during the winter and spring of 1919, adding to the pandemic death toll. The third wave of the pandemic subsided during the summer of 1919. An estimated 1/3 of the world’s population was infected with the 1918 flu virus – resulting in at least 50 million deaths worldwide.

The current Chinese pandemic will create a significant number of asymptomatic people who are not displaying symptoms but might infect people later this year once we have discontinued practicing social distancing. This could create a significant problem in the fall of 2020.

Headline in LA Times attacking Trump. How quick they forget that the Chinese doctor who identified the Chinese Virus was completely ignored by his own government. Also why when we are up to our eyeballs in debt are we spending this kind of money in China on job that they or the WHO should be doing. But hey at least the Chinese have now banned the eating of dogs and cats in one of their larger cities!

As a member in good standing of the sticks and stones generation I understand how social media has driven the country completely in the opposite direction. Today if you hurt anyone’s feelings for any reason what an awful person you are. Unfortunately this standard is dictated by any single individual feelings and as such has created a completely useless standard for establishing acceptable behavior for society.

This isn’t to say that sticks and stones behavior was perfect but frankly beats the hell out of what is being imposed on us by social media bloggers today. Perhaps the pendulum will swing back to something more collectively sane but when you consider the current popularity of the Kardashian’s I’m not going to hold my breath that it is going to anytime soon.

On his first day as President, Jimmy Carter pardoned 100,000 Vietnam war draft dodgers. Had these folks opted to go to jail instead of Canada, perhaps the war would have ended sooner. Will never know but for this reason they should not have been pardoned but had there sentences commuted instead.

Because of Vietnam President Nixon opted to disconnect the military from civilians and created a professional army instead. This made it all too easy for the idiot W to be able send them to Iraq. I remember non-vet Cheney saying that unlike him they had volunteered to serve. Had the draft existed it would have been way more difficult for Speaker Pelosi, Senator’s Clinton, Kerry and Biden to vote for the Iraqi war declaration.

AT THAT TIME BENEFITS WILL BE REDUCED BY 25% TO ALL RETIREE’S. THE SYSTEM WILL THEN BE LIVING PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK BUT PAYOUT IS BASED ON THE SAME NUMBERS OF PEOPLE WORKING AND EARNING THE SAME KIND OF DOUGH!

BUT ALONG COMES A GLOBAL DEPRESSION WITH FEWER PEOPLE WORKING AND THOSE THAT ARE, ARE MAKING WAY LESS MOOLAH! THIS IN TURN MEANS THAT SOCIAL SECURITY IS TAKING IN FAR FEWER BUCKS AND PAYING OUT FAR FEWER BUCKS AS WELL! THE FOLKS WHO RELY ON THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY COMPLETELY (AND WHO TEND TO VOTE DEMOCRAT) WILL BE SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER. ONE SHOULD THEN EXPECT THAT PAYOUT WILL NO LONGER BE BASED ON WHAT YOU PAID IN BUT RATHER BASED ON EVERYONE GETTING EQUAL PAYMENTS REGARDLESS!

INSTEAD WE BOUGHT OUR WAY OUT OF A MILD DEPRESSION IN 2008 (AND INTO A GREAT RECESSION INSTEAD) BY BORROWING UP TO OUR EYE BALLS IN DEBT. THE COMBINATION OF THIS DEBT LOAD COUPLED WITH THE SOON TO BE HERE BOOMER RETIREMENT DEBT WILL DRIVE US INTO A REALLY, REALLY GREAT DEPRESSION INSTEAD OF WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN TWO MILD ONES. THE 2 TRILLION WE JUST BORROWED FOR THE PANDEMIC ONLY MAKES THIS WORSE AND LIKELY WILL MAKE THE GLOBAL DEPRESSION HAPPEN SOONER AS OPPOSED TO LATER!

Years ago I worked with a older guy who was originally from Armenia. He hated Stalin so much that when world war 2 started he joined Hitler’s army and fought against the Russian army. At some point he married a German woman even though he had a wife and son back in Armenia.

As part of the peace treaty the allies agreed to return any Soviet citizen that had fought against their “country”. Eisenhauer said that this was the most repugnant thing he had to do during the war because he understood that many would ultimately die for their sins. Because the guy I knew had married a German he was not forcibly returned and eventually emigrated to the USA. After Stalin’s death he was allowed to return and visit his son who he hadn’t seen since the war began. His son had become a devote Communist and he never returned!

And that is all I’m going to say about that.

 

LBJ once compared serving in the US house of reps as chicken shit and serving in the US senate as chicken salad. Quite sure he left the White House thinking that serving as US president was a shit salad!

My recipe for making chicken salad is to slow cook 2 skinless and boneless chicken breast in chicken broth. Reserve a 1/4 cup of the broth to mix in with the shredded chicken, chopped celery, salt, pepper and mayo. Serve on a bed of iceberg lettuce!

In our arrogance we think that modern medicine will save us but let’s understand that the miracle of antibiotics has in turn created superbugs. We are also coming up to the 100th anniversary of the 1929 Stock market crash. Given the West’s increasing debt load it looks to me that we are going to have to relearn the lesson of a global depression as well. In turn this will coincide with a transition of world dominance from west to east.

Unfortunately for the Big Three and the UAW if you were making the better product you needed to be doing something else. So now they are the Little Three and no longer making cars but only trucks where they have a significant tariff advantage. Plus the UAW no longer has a monopoly in the USA as they have repeatedly attempted and failed to unionize foreign car producers with plants in the USA!

As the democratic socialists continue to take power in the USA they will continue their push to make America a better country. Unfortunately when that happens we will no longer be the best or even a good one!

Never understood why people spend thousands of dollars on funerals. My oldest brother spent big bucks planting himself above ground and in doors! In the end most of these ex-folks are going to end up like Richard the Third, underneath a paved over parking lot.

Recently the local Catholic Church raided their cemetery funds that they hold for in perpetuity care of the graves in their cemeteries. They did this so that they could payoff lawsuits caused by molesting Priests. Frankly unbelievable that they would compound their PR problems by appearing to look like a bunch of grave robbers! But perhaps it is ironic that they might have to eventually sell the church land for parking lots which of course is exactly where they found Richard III.

We hope for the best but plan for the worst. When it comes to the current pandemic the last one started in the spring of 1918, got worse in the fall of 1918 and then tapered off into 1919. The experts are telling us that at best we are not going to have a vaccine for the corona virus for at least a year and a half.

If that is true then worst case is a large number of companies going bankrupt and with the West already drowning in public debt likely to get much worse as tax bases decline while government borrowing increases. We could then be facing a major depression sooner as opposed to later. If the democrats hold both the White House and Congress look for huge increases in spending and taxes.

I was in Toronto during the SARS epidemic there. I was working a mostly canceled American Library Association convention. I think a half a dozen librarians showed up from the States. One was from Johnny Carson’s boyhood hometown, while another was from South Carolina wondering what we might have that could be used by someone in an iron lung. Funny what sticks with you.

At night I would walk Toronto to find a place to get something to eat. Some restaurants were packed while others were completely empty. I soon realized that all of the Asian places were the ones that were empty because SARS had been introduced to Canada from China. I stayed away from those places little knowing that according to today’s social media standards I was being racist. But hey, I’m still sleeping good at night instead of sleeping with the fishes!

And that is all I’m going to say about that!

 

 

As the number of confirmed U.S. coronavirus cases continues to grow, local courts around the country are dusting off their emergency plans and preparing to play referee if patients refuse to self-quarantine. In Connecticut we have allowed religious exemptions from having to take measles, mumps and rubella vaccine but most of us have taken them so a much smaller overall health problem!

But along comes coronavirus with no vaccine and the 6400 dollar question will be does the State have the legal right to impose a self-quarantine on people who have been granted a religious exemption for them? The gutless CT State legislators just recently grandfathered in allowing all existing religious vaccine exemptions to continue. Once there is a vaccine for the corona Virus let’s hope these same legislators have the guts to put these religious exemption types at the end of the line once it does become available.

Tulsi Gabbard-Voted to give the vote to 16 year olds. But hey the lady is young and good looking so she very likely thought she would do well with the 16 year old horny male voter.

Amy Klobuchar-Controls her office with fear, anger and shame and is reported to be one of the worst bosses on the Hill. Good for her we need to kick some butt in DC!

Kirsten Gillibrand-The first in her caucus to ask for Me, Al Franken to resign while stating that Bill Clinton should have resigned over Monica Lewinsky’s handling of the President’s special purpose!

So here we are in the middle of a pandemic and the speaker of the house is worried about political correctness! No wonder the US Congress approval rating is at 23% as of February 2020.

Recently 4 members of a Massachusetts family died in a car/truck accident outside of Disney World when a distracted driver plowed into them. The distracted truck driver was in the country illegally and was captured at the Orlando airport while waiting for a flight back to his home country of Brazil. Too bad that sanctuary democrats are undercutting immigrations ability to find and send these folks back to their home country before they kill someone.

But as Stalin has said firearm and motor vehicle deaths are now effectively only statistics and so nobody really cares unless it happens to their own family. They say that we are a country of laws but how ironic that a country with the world’s most lawyers has become this lawless. Teddy Roosevelt once said that if you wanted to get rid of a bad law you should enforce the hell out of it! Sounds like a good place to start!

Recently I watched The Irishman with De Niro. There is a scene in the movie where he is standing over 2 German soldiers who are digging their own graves! I remembered by ex-boss telling me that when he was a Captain in General Patton’s G-2 that they would grab German soldiers and he would detail a soldier to take them back to HQ. Because they were a head of enemy lines this could be 10 or 20 miles and then the soldier would have to double time it back to his outfit. My ex-boss said that it wasn’t unusual to see the solider back in line 10 minutes later, implying that the soldier had done what De Niro had done in the movie.

He went on to say how cheap life really was and then regaled me with a story about being in the Hurtigan forest during the Battle of the Bulge and being told that all American’s had retreated thru the forest and to open up on anyone coming thru. They did and unfortunately not all American’s had made it thru and what occurred was largest friendly fire incident during WW2. Yup like is cheap!

Unfortunately for Billy Jeff Clinton, Monica was only a mean girl. After Monica finished blowing the prez’s Harmonica the come back kid would end up leaving his jizz on her dress little knowing how this would cum back an bite him! One assumes that the first lady was neither mean nor nice and had given up on relieving her husband’s stress some time ago anyway. The Nobel Prize Winning Economist Milton Friedman considered himself to be a liberal in the classical meaning of the word. He would understand that today’s so called liberal is in reality a Socialist. What then is a conservative? A conservative socialist. Frankly makes you wonder why they brought Corona Virus patients to the lower 48 as opposed to some island somewhere like they used to do in the good old days! Modern medicine has lulled folks in the west to pandemic threats and yet the over use of antibiotics has created super bugs!

The upside of a Corona virus pandemic is that it is apparently killing off primarily older folks which in turn could mean that the Social Security and Medicare budget deficits may not be as high. Also fewer people consuming carbon and beef could lower the planet’s carbon foot print which should help with climate change. But a drastic reversal in life expectancy would get everyone’s attention and not necessarily in a good way!

Presidents and Senators don’t have men killed! If you don’t think so then read both the Pentagon and Afghanistan Papers! Both Bernie and Obama had it wrong when it came to Afghanistan! Not only was it not the right war but Obama would fire General McCrystal who was rightly criticizing the President’s conduct of the war.

Rep Barbara Lee was the only US legislator to vote against giving Bush a blank check for conducting this war. Pelosi would try to talk her out of this vote and Nancy would be eventually rewarded with a profiles in courage award. What is the Kennedy’s definition of courage anyway? Clearly not what Rep Lee stood for as both Teddy and his son Patrick would vote for this war also. All that said Rep Lee is the congress lady from Berkeley CA. A city that just voted to change the sexist name of a manhole cover. Probably didn’t require a-lot of political courage on her part either.

In 2016 the Republican Party rejected its own career politicians and nominated a non-professional. In 2020 it looks like the Democrats may do the same and nominate a professional independent. The folks on both extremes are rejecting their own career politicians and for good reason. Frankly makes you wonder why anyone pays any attention to either Speaker Pelosi or Senate leader McConnell.

So if the Demmies nominate the bernmiester AND it looks like the Dems might win the both White House and the Senate, while keeping the House, then this would be the only circumstance that would prompt me to vote for Trump. Now for those of you calling for an end to the Electoral College please consider what happened with the 2016 Republican Nomination process and once again with the 2020 Democrat Nomination process. Can you imagine turning our general election process into either one of these?

For the 12^th year in a row the US Post Office has lost money, reporting a loss of $3.9 billion dollars in 2018. This in spite of having a monopoly on the majority of its business! The absolute perfect example of our politician’s inability to run a business!

In the age of the internet and email who needs snail mail? The fact is most of the mail you get today are catalogs and junk mail. Do we really have to deliver this junk on Saturday also? With the country up to its eyeballs in debt is there anyone in Washington who capable of fixing this? If you don’t think so then please don’t vote for any big government socialists in 2020! Lacking imagination, foresight, or intellectual insight…..

I know people who only watch CNN while others only watch Fox News. These folks are only seeking to have their own particular biases or opinions reinforced! In today’s political environment fewer people on the left and right are open to other opinions. This does not make for a healthy democracy.

As for myself I watch CBS and Fox, read the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, look at the Firing Line and C-Span, peruse National Review and the BBC. If all of these folks are on the same page which admittedly rarely happens I’m  likely getting the straight dope here. My three kids worked very hard in college and got themselves some very good jobs and are now paying off their own loans! Good for them!

Why then are their taxes going to have to go up to help pay off the college loans of some of their class mates who worked less hard then they did! Why are the Demmy’s letting these kids parents who co-signed these loans off the hook as well? But hey, don’t worry I’m sure the Red Herring has a plain for that which will require the billionaires paying for all of this and everything else! A free school lunch for all!

Tesla just made it’s first annual profit in ten years and now has a stock value that makes it more valuable than Ford and GM combined! Combined vehicle sales from GM and Ford equal over 4 million while Tesla shipped less than 10% of this number in 2019! This goes beyond irrational and is more likely insane exuberance! Makes you wonder how many they would have sold without government subsidies. Musk loves businesses that get government money and who can blame him!

That said Tesla is a niche car company and as the major auto guys move into his niche EV market he has nowhere to go but down and maybe out! Both Ford and VW signed an agreement last year to team up on EV’s. No one is going to buy Tesla stock at anywhere near its current price, once they start to see some real competition from them.

Art Buchwald was an American humorist best known for his column in The Washington Post. I remember seeing him in an interview where he said that he did not accept invitations to White House Dinners because he thought it might be an attempt to influence his reporting. Today News reporters can be seen in tuxs or gowns attending State dinners all the time! OK the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is projecting the budget deficit to reach 31 Trillion dollars by 2030. This would amount to a whopping 98% of US GDP. However none of this debt includes the Green New Deal, Medicare for all, Slave Reparations, or the elimination of College loans. So basically the CBO is just addressing the tip of the ice berg.

While the US hasn’t seen this level of debt since WW2 the difference is that coming off of a War that had bombed our competition (Germany, Japan) back to the Stone Age America was producing 50% of the world GDP and could charge whatever price they wanted for it. At the same time the US Government could tax whatever they wished without doing any short term harm to the economy. Those conditions will not exist the next time around and very likely we will be reaching a 98% debt level well before 2030 given the above!

THIS IS JUST THE OPENING GAMBIT TO EVENTUALLY PAYING ALL COLLEGE ATHLETES WHO PLAY SPORTS. THE FACT IS THE MAJORITY OF ENDORSEMENT MONEY WILL FLOW TO MEN’S BASKETBALL AND FOOTBALL SUPER STARS. So according to the Washington Post “Democracy Dies in Darkness” but when one of their reporters raised the issue of Kobe Bryant having been accused in the past of sexual assault she was suspended by her editor. Apparently the lady reporter who was a victim of a sexual assault as well was receiving death threats so she spent the night in a hotel rather than her own home!

I remember when the LA Times reported that just days after being charged with sexually assaulting a hotel employee in Colorado, Kobe Bryant gave a purple diamond ring worth a reported $4 million to his wife. Frankly when you consider the outpouring of grief at the Staple Center it reminds me of when Elvis died. Sorry folks he was just a basketball player and you all need to get a life!

Having thoughts, feelings, or motives that are easily perceived. What I like about both Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump is that they are both mostly transparent. Hillary Clinton was anything but transparent! In order for Democracy to work well for the people, politicians need to be honest and upfront with them. Trumps call to drain the swamp very likely works for Sanders but for different reasons. When Hillary says that nobody likes Bernie (and Trump for that matter) she is talking about the professional career politicians who are being rejected by both of them and wishing to keep it business as usual.

As America’s fortunes continue to decline the call for transparency will increase and that can only be good for democracy in the long term! However we will need to de-weaponize the political system by limiting the amount of dollars that can be expended here. Both businesses and unions need to be banned from making political campaign contributions as a start. We should allow only individual voters to only make contributions to political campaigns!

Ok so your last name starts with Butt and your parents must have known that you would grow up being the butt of everyone’s joke right? Like everyone I know has a big butt or dat be in the butt Bob. THE OTHER COMPANY SUPPLIED A PRODUCT THAT REQUIRED SOME MAINTENANCE OVER TIME BUT THE EXPECTATION WAS THAT, THAT WAS THE CUSTOMERS PROBLEM. IN THE COMMERCIAL MARKET THE CUSTOMER HAD MANY DIFFERENT VENDOR CHOICES (COMPETITION) AND SERVICE WAS A KEY VENDOR ISSUE. THE CULTURE AT BOTH COMPANIES WAS SO INGRAINED THAT THERE WAS NO WAY THEY WERE GOING TO SUCCEED UNLESS THEY MADE WHOLESALE CHANGES TO THERE STAFF. AS A RESULT THEY NEVER SUCCEEDED IN DIVERSIFYING THEMSELVES!

AS WE MOVE TO A SOCIALIST COUNTRY EXPECT THAT THE PRODUCT YOU ARE CURRENTLY RECEIVING FROM THE PRIVATE SECTOR WILL BECOME MORE EXPENSIVE, WITH POORER QUALITY AND SERVICE ONCE IT IS BEING SUPPLIED BY THE US GOVERNMENT!

Hollywood is the “official” Public Relations firm for the Democrats! Given this I should have been weary when the movie critics raved about movie called Knives Out. Half way thru the movie I’m scratching my head as to why the critics gave it such rave reviews. By the final scene I understood why they did!

Turns out the movie is about a bunch of spoiled and greedy white folk and the immigrant nurse taking care of the father of the spoiled and greedy white folk. At the end of the movie the Hispanic nurse is triumphant over the white kids as she inherits the old man’s estate. The title made perfect sense as Hollywood’s knives are clearly out for privileged white people in the USA. But how many of the homeless immigrant folks living on the streets of LA LA Land have been taken in by Hollywood’s spoiled and greedy white actors into their huge mansions?

The official newspaper for the democrat party is endorsing two ladies for President, Warren and Klobuchar. The NY Times has endorsed a democrat for President in every election since 1960! Very likely the Times would prefer Warren but she is so far left that even Trump has a shot at beating her so they are playing it safe by endorsing a moderate lady as well! As I’ve already said I’m supporting Amy for President. I don’t trust the Red Herring as far as I can throw her…

The only real concern I have with electing a woman, is electing one who feels she has to out man a man to prove that she is up to the job. For example the first lady Attorney General Janet Reno thought she had to storm the Branch Dividian compound in Waco TX which resulted in 25 kids being killed there. Worst yet this incident inspired Timothy McVeigh blowing up a federal building in Oklahoma killing another 168 people! I’m betting that Betsy is more like Reno than Amy is!

So the Sussexes wanted their cake and eat it to. But of course Grandma understood that you’re either all in or all out! No way does it work to be a part time Royal. The fact is that everything was okay and then Meg joins the family and wants out of the brothers foundation and Kensington Palace as well.

Sort of reminds you of Harry’s great, great Uncle Edward VIII. He too married a divorced American and got the royal boot himself. Apparently they had even more in common as apparently Eddie was a fan of the Nazi’s and Harry was a fan of  wearing Nazi uniforms. I remember a local Mayor being condemned by the Reverend Sharpton and the mainstream media as being a racist for not allowing the city employees to take the MLK holiday off with pay! The reality was that the Mayor did not want to give the city’s union employees another holiday but rather they could chose to take MLK Day or Columbus Day or what have you.

Having worked in the private sector I have never had MLK day as a holiday! As the Grandfather of two grandkids of color would be nice to think that they could at least be offered the choice of taking or not taking this day. Even better if they grew up in world that just saw them for the two beautiful and smart little kids that they are!

Brian Lamb the co-founder of C-SPAN asked a reporter from the USA Today why the media has gotten so partisan and what can be done about it. A few weeks later on C-SPAN, NBC correspondent Andrea Mitchell is saying that we have to get back to fact base reporting. So if the media is partisan and not reporting the facts then what exactly are they doing? Yup, Fake News!

The media is upset because they will not be allowed to perform their constitutional duty during the Senate Impeachment of Trump. where is it written in the US Constitution that the press has constitutional rights? More Fake News! When a democratic people can no longer rely on their Free Press for fact based, non-partisan reporting we end up looking just like a Trump relay! That is definitely not going to make America Great Again!

So Bill Clinton and his mainstream media allies did an incredible job of convincing the voters that it was just about sex! The reality of course was that it was about committing perjury! As President he is the chief law enforcement officer and on top of this a lawyer as well! But as far as I know forensic science has not been able to lift fingerprints off of a penis so they had to rely on a Presidential cum stain instead!

I remember at about this same time Pee Wee Herman was arrested for ejaculating in a public space and thinking that the Oval Office is a public space also! In the end Clinton should have been censured by Congress! Trump who RBG has said is not a lawyer should be censured as well! So as Pee Wee says “Connect the dots, la la la la. Connect the dots, la la la la.”

Today JFK’s inaugural would go over like a lead balloon with Democrats! Increasingly in this country we are not expecting to do anything for the country including serving in its military but instead it should do more for us! For example you borrow money from the government to finance your college education and both Bernie and Betsy want to forgive this debt in exchange for your voting for them of course.

My wife and I told our 3 kids who have 4 masters degrees and a PhD between them that we would pick up their instate college costs only but any difference was on them. They worked hard got scholarships and grants and they’re in great shape. Why they should have to pick up some else college tab when they agreed to pick up there own is beyond me! But hey that is the way it’s going in this country and in the next ten years a Bernie or Betsy will be throwing that and way more at these folks.

But let’s face it there can’t be two so called socialist in the race and Bernie is currently in the lead in Iowa so Betsy had to do something!

The fact is when you consider how Pocahontas handled the I’m a Fugawi Indian situation you understand that she is more likely blowing smoke signals up someone’s ass than Sanders is! The lady even claims to be capitalist! The last thing this country needs is another lying lawyer  in the White House! Trump is right Bernie never said it!

So do the math as a lady starting work at age 20 and retiring at age 52 will work the same number of years that she would collect a pension! Great work if you can get it!

A CAMEL IS A HORSE THAT HAS BEEN DESIGNED BY A COMMITTEE. CAMELS WILL GET YOU THERE BUT JUST NOT AS QUICKLY AS A RACE HORSE WILL! IF EVERYONE IS RIDING CAMELS THEN FINE BUT IF YOUR COMPETITOR IS RIDING A HORSE INSTEAD YOU MIGHT WANT TO DO SOMETHING ELSE. So the Pro Israel and Pro Democrat paper the NY Times had to find a way to thread the needle about the hit on Iran General Soleimani. The issue of course is that this hit would be seen as being very popular with the Israeli’s but not so much by the Demmy’s! Former Senator and Demmy VP candidate Lieberman who is also Jewish was as expected thrilled with this hit as both he and the Times thought this guy had it coming! The Times on the other hand left it to the Trump administration to justify that this cure would be way better than the disease! Will see.

The Donald who has been aggressively courting the Jewish vote recently issued an executive order against The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions of Israel movement on US college campuses who take federal money. Since its creation in 1948 America has effectively given Israel a blank check which the President is exploiting to it greatest possible extent. When the history of American world leadership is written, no doubt this will be seen as significant contributor to the USA’s decline!

Whether it is Bolivia, Venezuela, or Argentina the South American socialists have bankrupted their countries driving their fellow “refugees” to the US border, to get another bite at the socialist apple. Doctor Shakil Afridi and family should be living over here instead but the USA needs to do more than just cut aid to Pakistan by just the $33 million dollars that was done!

But hey Pakistan is not the only ‘friend” the USA has in the Middle East as it appears that Iraq is another good one even though they allowed Iranian Lt. General Qassem Suleimani to operate against the USA in Iraq! But I do recall all of the dancing in the street there after the USA deposed Saddam Hussein. Does our State Department have any idea who our REAL friends are or are they all enemies over there?

In fact Charlie had such a reputation that he was found guilty of fathering a child that had neither his or its mother’s blood type. He would pay child support until this child became an adult.

Paid six bucks for the Sunday NY Times that is half the size of what it used to be! At the end of the day there is no such thing as a FREE press. Today the media environment is so competitive that they will do and say whatever it takes to get or keep subscribers. It is because the mainstream media marketplace has become so competitive that social media is given a much larger voice in it than it deserves or is warranted. If Joe does get the nomination the lemmings on the left will vote for him, just like the lemmings on the right will vote for Crazy Donald. The choice comes down to voting for either Laurel or Hardy then. While I will be writing in some else’s name! Unfortunately the lemmings will be deciding who the next President is and if it’s one of the above the choice is either for more craziness or going back to the good old days of just plain old incompetence.

TODAY FETUSES HAVE INCREASINGLY NO LEGAL RIGHTS INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO BE BORN NORMAL.

FRANKLY THRILLED THAT I’M NOT A WOMAN WHO HAS TO CONTEND WITH THESE KINDS OF ISSUES. MORE THAN HAPPY TO ALLOW ALL THE LADIES TO HAVE COMPLETE CONSTITUTIONAL CONTROL OVER THEIR BODIES BUT WHAT ARE THEY THEN GOING TO DO ABOUT THE MOTHERS HARMING THEIR POTENTIAL BABIES? WHAT A HOT MESS! IN 1945 HE WAS SLATED TO GO TO JAPAN TO BOMB JAPS, BUT WAS SAVED FROM HAVING TO DO THIS AS A RESULT OF THE ATOMIC BOMBINGS OF HIROSHIMA AND NAGASAKI. HE WAS THRILLED BECAUSE HE KNEW HE WAS GOING TO SURVIVE THE WAR AND GO HOME TO HIS FAMILY WHEN MANY OF HIS PEERS HADN’T!
