When a country exports more products then it imports it becomes richer but when it imports more products then it exports it becomes poorer! So in the case of America’s top 3 trading partners the USA exported a total of $596.5 billion in cash with China coming in first with +385.9, Mexico +130.5 and Canada with +80.1. This of course will make American made products less competitive in the export market while increasing the cost of domestic services to the American consumer! The net effect will be lower employment for the 30 million illegals hiding in the USA.

Matt Damon is absolutely correct that yesterday’s public schools are closer to today’s private schools! My wife who spent 20+ years working for a private school couldn’t agree more with Matt. However one of the key reasons for this is that private schools generally do not have a unionized workforce!

As a result that they have never failed at anything and therefore have absolutely no idea what they are good at! When you ask an American if they support public financing of elections or if they support government financing of elections you get 2 completely different answers! From a political stand point there are millions of car owners versus only 150,000 gas station owners so buy as many votes as you can. But if the objective is to convert people off gas to electric then the incentive should be going to the gas station owner. When drivers see that they can recharge at their local or distant gas station they will have more confidence in EV’s!

My Father in law lived into his 90’s and was mentally sound almost to the very end, while my Mother in law lived into her 80’s but suffered with Alzheimer’s. The idiot Secretary of the Treasury Yellin who one way or the other is responsible for much of the Federal Debt is stating in a presidential election year that America is headed for a soft landing. But that is because she has raised the federal debt by another 2.5 trillion dollars in the last 3 years to 34 trillion in total!

The failure of our so-called leaders was not banking 7 years of plenty away to pay for the 7 years of famine! We continue to borrow against the future of our kids and grand kids not only that but the importation of 30 million poor folks will only exacerbate America’s financial implosion. That will end the world leadership of western democracies to be replaced by eastern dictatorships!

The question for Mayor Adams is does doling out money solve this problem for New York or only make it worse by attracting even more illegals into his city!

For some time I had this concept for a Broadway comedy musical about differences! Its about two middle aged guys who have been close friends from childhood but who over the years have had little success with the ladies for a variety of different reasons. Ideally one of the guys would be played by Paul Giamatti who is more pessimistic than his more optimistic friend played by Patton Oswalt.

Out for a walk one evening they pass a Lesbian Bar when Oswalt proposes that they go in for a drink! The WAPO headline is misleading because the only thing that has declined is the rate of inflation! In 2021 it was 7%, in 2022 6.5% and last year 3.4% for a total of 16.9% overall. You would need disinflation for food prices to decline to what folks were paying before Biden became President and in fact his inflation reduction act only made it more difficult for that to happen!

An idiot activist judge in Delaware over-ruled Tesla’s board of directors in granting Elon Musk 55 billion dollars in compensation. Musk will just end up flipping the proverbial bird at the judge’s ruling by moving Tesla’s corporation from Joe Biden’s Blue Delaware to the Pro-capitalist Red State of Texas where many Blue State companies have recently moved to!

I remember another idiot activist judge who overreached in Massachusetts with forced busing on the South Boston Irish! The average full time worker works 250 days per year unless your a teacher who works only 180 days!

The teachers union is turning education into another United Auto Workers industry and we will be Fixing Or Replacing our kids Daily (F.O.R.D.). Neither the King nor President whose countries have treaties with Israel will want anything to do with this and so the Palestinian problem will be left to fester! This is not a fixable problem as long as American Jews are calling the shots on the USA’s Middle East policy!

I do all of the grocery shopping, cooking and most of the eating in my home! My wife does everything else! Since Biden’s election food prices have skyrocketed and it is not unusual to hear a fellow shopper openly complain about food prices! I have always been a price value consumer who is way more likely to pick an off brand.

Especially for voters living on a fixed income they will be reminded of this every week right up to the election in November! Coming off of Trump’s win in Iowa Biden has already announced that The Donald has the Republican nomination in the bag! Joe stands the best chance of winning if that’s the case. If it’s revenge the Repub’s want then pick Trump but if they want to win then pick anyone else!

Ron DeSantis has positioned himself as another Trump which given just how fanatic the Donald’s supporters are, either bodes well for the Florida Governor in one of 3 ways! First Trump is convicted of a crime which bans him from running for President in 2024. Second, Trump runs in 2024 and chooses DeSantis as VP and third Trump loses in 2024 and DeSantis is his heir apparent in 2028.

Most of that goes out the window if Nikki Haley is the Republican nominee in 2024 and she is also more likely to beat Biden than Trump is! Nikki would be smart then to pick DeSantis for VP. Ron is only 45 so eight years from now he would only be in his early 50’s. For all of his advantages DeSantis hasn’t caught on fire because Trump has sucked all of his oxygen out of the room!

My Father was a legal immigrant who would serve in the US NAVY during WW 2. Joe Biden received criticism during his 2020 presidential campaign for his five student draft deferments and never served. When given the opportunity to elect Vietnam veterans (Al Gore, McCain, and John Kerry), the US electorate chose not to do so.

With the all-volunteer United States Armed Forces of 2018 comprising 0.5 percent of the US populace, there has been a complete disconnect between service to country versus the country servicing it citizens! America is displaying all of the symptoms of a nation in decline! Who will replace us as leader of the free or perhaps the non-free world?

America has painted itself into very dangerous corners whether it is defending the “democracy’s” of Israel or Taiwan and needs to re-evaluate both of its positions!

Biden himself had a very difficult decision to make some years ago having to choose his family versus his career and he chose a career! For those who believe that Joe will put the country ahead of his career, I would argue that his talk is very cheap! I have a bridge to sell any takers?

In a republic, a constitution or charter of rights protects certain inalienable rights that cannot be taken away by the government, even if it has been elected by a majority of voters. In a “pure democracy,” the majority is not restrained in this way and can impose its will on the minority.

The RIGHT wants to maintain the Republic because in part they fore see a day when they will be in the minority in America while the LEFT wants America to become a Democracy as that will allow them to impose social, political and economic changes in America quickly! They see the current composition of the US Supreme Court as an obstacle to accomplishing this objective as fast as possible!

You have 80% of the media, 90% of academics and 100% of Hollywood protecting Biden’s flanks while only discussing Trump’s failings which lets face it are many! In the end that is the biggest threat to American democracy in much the same way that the BBC kept Churchill off is airways in the 1930’s. Say it ain’t so Joe.

This should not become a State Right and if the parents make the wrong decision for their minor it then it is on them! As for Transgender sports the fact is that Transgenders account for way less than 1% of the total population so let them compete among themselves! At the end of the day a young person’s brain is not fully developed until they are 25 years old, so they should be encouraged to wait on making this kind of permanent decision until then.

The Blue States of Colorado and Maine have chosen to exclude Trump from their Primary ballots. As a Law and Order advocate If or when Trump is actually convicted of committing insurrection I would be the first in line wanting him to be banned from the 2024 Presidential elections. But when and where did that happen?

This is another reminder of just how dangerous the extreme Left and Right has become in America! If Trump does get the Republican nomination again then beat him legally at the ballot box (again). Personally I’m hoping that neither Trump nor Biden ends up as the nominee of their respective Party’s but if the do I will voting for someone else!

Remember Quality Time? Didn’t work! Nothing beats spending quantity time with your kids. When my daughter started school they put her into the advanced class and then discovered that she wasn’t advanced. Turns out that because my wife was an at home mother who spent quantity hours with her she appeared to be more advanced then most of her quality time classmates!

She would go on to an Ivy League school and eventually graduate with a PhD in Engineering! In fact between my 3 kids they have 4 Masters Degrees and 1 PhD. This whole quality time vs. Quantity was just a coping mechanism so that Boomers could rationalize choosing to buy a house with a 2 car garage over renting and staying home!

To be fair the IDF would have to kill way more Palestinians, to be in Hitler or Stalin’s genocide league so perhaps they are only conducting a pogrom or is this what self-defense looks like?

For career politicians as long as you have an effective scapegoat that you can offload the blame on! For example Nancy Pelosi’s Capital Cops completely mishandled the January 6th riot but by calling it an insurrection instead the democrats and their media allies succeeded in scapegoating Trump! But had it been a Republican Congress and a Democrat President way less likely that strategy would have worked!

The other strategy for career politicians is to outsource the decision making process altogether by creating and empowering government agencies to make the decision for them. The fewer decisions our so-called leaders have to make the fewer mistakes they can be blamed for! Unfortunately over time our so-called leaders have become increasingly risk adverse and as fortune favors the bold you should expect Asian dictators to eventually prevail!

In 1920 it ended an even longer term right than owning slaves by allowing those born with vaginas the right to vote! A good thing because if they hadn’t allowed women the right to vote can you imagine today just how many more transgender men there would be in America on election day?

If the primary issue of concern is that abortion was a long term right then by all means lets take back the right to vote from the ladies and re-enslave black people while we re at it! This is just another partisan headline that is designed to sell newspapers at best or at worst is designed to advance the democrat agenda! Speaking of Lawyers it is interesting that Joe, and his kids Beau and Hunter were Lawyers as well as Joe’s brother Frank. The Godfather did say that you could steal more money with a brief case than you can with a gun, which makes you wonder why Hunter thought he needed a gun also.

But in order to maintain the “appearance” of being a democracy one of two things must happen; first, if you are seeking a no State solution you must drive them out of East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza to prevent Palestinian voters from overwhelming your Jewish democracy or secondly, allow a single State solution for the Palestinians which opens the door to a “modern” Palestinian Army!

While many States have decriminalized Marijuana, Oregon did one better and decriminalized hardcore drug use! “Opioid-related deaths in the Beaver State have skyrocketed to 955 this year, up from 280 in 2019 before the law” Fox News.Opioid deaths in Oregon increased 13 times from 2019 to 2023 vs. 2 times Nationwide over the same period!

No surprise then that Oregon had the largest % increase of drug deaths than every other US State! Once you decriminalize the consumer you were going to see a huge increase in the use of illegally made hardcore drugs. America needs to legalize the distribution of safe narcotics and then pump the tax income from it’s sales into treating drug users!

I have 2 beautiful grand kids who are half white and half black or half black and half white if you prefer. They are darker than their mother but lighter than their father! Does that make me a racist? I too wondered how “dark” they might be and they are darker then Meghan’s kids but then Harry’s kids are 75% white.

In fact if you are not Jewish you can be declared antisemitic just by identifying someone as Jewish! She failed to mention that the American was also Jewish! The title of the article “Was Peace Ever Possible?”

Now while the Times does a very good job of reminding their readers that the Palestinian death toll is according to the terrorist group Hamas nowhere do they identify any potential Jewish bias! However when it comes to the Middle East the 97.2% of Americans who are not Jewish have a right to know what potential biases are attempting to influence America’s policy in the region be it American Jews or American Palestinians! My guess more people know that Congress woman Tlaib is Palestinian than they do that US Secretary of State Blinken is Jewish!

Not sure exactly what this means but I imagine that if you are not making a living wage then you are making a dying wage. As America continues to swirl down the toilet bowl we will continue to see an expansion of both the social safety network and the Federal debt!
