“According to the Economist Intelligence Unit Democracy Index, there are 80 democratic countries in the world (consisting of 26 full democracies and 54 flawed democracies) out of 167 measured entities.” Google AI. Less than half of the world’s countries are democracies and of those over half of them are flawed! Over the weekend rioting occurred in many of the non-flawed democracies in the EU as well.
The world is becoming an increasingly more dangerous place and and if you are a dictator like Xi and Putin you have got to love what you are seeing in the world’s democracies! It strikes me that all of the world’s dictators have to do is to sit back and let the democracies continue on their path to imploding all by themselves! This of course would be far less painful and costly then pushing for another world war!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
