We saw this in Blue State Connecticut when we had a Big City Mayor as Governor with a veto proof margin in the legislature! Apparently one in four “Californians” are foreign born poor folks so as they chase rich white folks out of the State like Connecticut did after the Great Recession they will just raise taxes on the rest of the remaining less rich white Californians just like they have on the less rich white Connecticut residents! Yup there are rich people of color who will pay also just fewer of them
