I’m sure that Bill is correct but lets say that Einstein said that malicious actors are gaining access to increasingly powerful nuclear weapons without adequate safeguards like Hitler and Stalin! Not likely that Albert would be telling FDR to stop the Manhattan project. Lets say that Hitler gets the bomb first or that China gets AI first where are we then? Can you even trust Hitler, Stalin or Xi if they agree to safeguards? Coming off of Covid I would say NO!
