Increasingly I am watching video’s on You Tube and wondering if the are real or fake AI video’s! This isn’t to say that they aren’t entertaining but they do potentially undercut the credibility of what you are viewing. One imagines that eventually they overwhelm what is genuine and kill the popularity of the site! This could have significant negative impact on the tweens as well.
It does beg the question of how easy or difficult it is to identify AI generated video’s and what efforts social media is doing to identify what is real or what is not and then either identifying it or eliminating it from their website! Now that the social media billionaires have become republicans the DEMS are coming after them tooth and nail but when do we go after the parents for letting their youngsters have way to easy access to this stuff to begin with?
And that is allI’m going to say about that!
