The American Way of Killing

“I have to say, that’s the strangest of all the topics I tackle in the book, because all you have to do is read these assault rifle bans,” he says. “They’re not that long, they’re like four pages. You just have to read them and you’re like ‘Oh, I guess it doesn’t ban assault rifles after all.’ ”Presidents of both parties have backed the ban — Reagan, Ford and Carter lobbied Congress to pass it in 1994, and Obama and Biden repeatedly pushed to revive it after it expired, casting it as common sense policy. In general, (Malcolm) Gladwell says it’s not uncommon for elected officials to advocate for legislation that they haven’t read or may not fully understand.” LA Times.

Otherwise known as plausible deniability, compounded by the fact that the issue is being driven by emotions (little head) as opposed to intellect (big head). When you consider the billions being spent on the 2026 elections and the complete lack of big headed intellect you understand that we are also killing off democracy as well. I’ll be dead by the time that happens but it will be a huge problem for my six beautiful grand children! On the other hand the Russian way of killing is to put as many of their soldiers thru a meat grinder until they overwhelm the enemy!

And that is all I’m going to say about that!
