So 49% of CT students don’t meet the standard which still is below pre-covid testing! “Math Proficiency: 46.7% of CT students met or exceeded the math standard in 2025–26, recovering to within 1.4 percentage points of the 2019 level (48.1%).” Google AI. So half of CT students do not met the standards which is still lower than pre-covid testing!
The other day the governor of Connecticut ran a campaign ad where he high fives a teacher and promised her a raise. What I don’t understand does Ned Lamont promise a raise to every CT government employee for failing to do half of their job, never mind doing a worse job than they did 5 years ago? Or is this just another example of making a campaign promise as a pay off for some union campaign donations? Both CT candidates for Gov. blow!
