After Millenia of discrimination by Christians followed by Centuries of Pogroms, capped off by a Holocaust, Jews are for very good reasons one of the most radicalized people on Earth! It is interesting to listen to Bibi talk about Islamic radicalization but this is just the kettle calling the pot black! There are of course degrees of Jewish Radicalization with the Jewish Religious Right wanting the whole of Palestine to themselves while the Jewish Non-Religious Left are more willing to compromise on some sort of a 2 State solution!
Before Israel became an independent nation some radicalized Jews committed acts of terrorism in Palestine and Likud is the Fruit of that Poisonous Terrorist Tree! The longer this 80 year war goes on the more difficult it will be to resolve it peacefully. Let’s hope that it doesn’t require another world war to solve this! As China becomes more assertive on the world stage things could become even more dangerous in the Middle East.
