Lacking imagination, foresight, or intellectual insight…..

I know people who only watch CNN while others only watch Fox News. These folks are only seeking to have their own particular biases or opinions reinforced! In today’s political environment fewer people on the left and right are open to other opinions. This does not make for a healthy democracy.

As for myself I watch CBS and Fox, read the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, look at the Firing Line and C-Span, peruse National Review and the BBC. If all of these folks are on the same page which admittedly rarely happens I’m  likely getting the straight dope here. Otherwise it is extremely difficult to tell the truth from the partisan fiction being put out by either side!

And that is all I’m going to say about that.

THE FACT IS THAT MANY COUNTRIES SEND THEIR KIDS TO OUR COLLEGES BUT OF COURSE THE BETTER ONES ARE ALL PRIVATELY RUN VERSUS THE GOVERNMENT RUN ONES. AS THE LEFT MOVES TO “FREE” STATE COLLEGES THEIR WILL BE FEWER PRIVATE ONES! JUST THINK HOW MUCH BETTER OUR GOVERNMENT EDUCATION WOULD BE IF IT WAS NON GOVERNMENT RUN. UNFORTUNATELY THE LARGEST USA UNION HAS DONE A GREAT JOB OF INDOCRINATING PEOPLE HERE THAT GOVERNMENT EDUCATION WITH A BUILT IN TEACHERS MONOPLOY IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO…

If Karl Marx was right about one thing it’s that religion is the opiate of gullible people although increasingly fewer people are addicted to it! In America these addicted folks are on the political right supporting Trump.

THIS RESEARCH WOULD EVENTUALLY LEAD TO THE FOUNDING OF 4H CLUBS ACROSS THE USA! RECENTLY 4H BILLBOARDS HAVE BEGUN SPROUTING UP WITH THE HEADLINE “INSPIRED TO DO”. BUT IF YOU HAVE EVER ATTENDED ONE OF THEIR 4H AGRICULTURAL FAIRS IT IS MORE LIKE INSPIRING KIDS TO DO DO!

So any number of kids went to college while racking up significant amounts of debt.  Now any number of democratic presidential candidates are attempting to purchase their votes by letting them and their parents who co-signed the loan off the hook for having to pay them back! My three kids worked very hard in college and got themselves some very good jobs and are now paying off their own loans! Good for them!

Why then are their taxes going to have to go up to help pay off the college loans of some of their class mates who worked less hard then they did! Why are the Demmy’s letting these kids parents who co-signed these loans off the hook as well? But hey, don’t worry I’m sure the Red Herring has a plain for that which will require the billionaires paying for all of this and everything else! A free school lunch for all!

Regardless of what RFK thought, his brother would not have won without LBJ as his VEEP. That said Bush 41 should have gone with Bob Dole instead of Danny the Q! McCain should have picked Romney instead of the lady who could see Russia from her house! In 2020 if a lady is not leading the Demmy ticket expect that one will be chosen for VEEP. Would Bernie still pick Betsy? Or would Buttigieg pick Amy for VEEP?

But if Betsy or Amy win the nomination would either pick either like the NYTimes did! That of course would be a complete first for the Presidency and both candidates are married to College Law Professors. In fact all four are lawyers, so no need to appoint an Attorney General! Unless like JFK they chose a family member.

BUT HERE WE ARE WITH SO CALLED FULL EMPLOYMENT AND WE ARE STILL BORROWING MONEY AS OPPOSED TO PAYING IT DOWN. AS THE BOOMERS RETIRE AND DRAIN THE SOCIAL SECURITY TRUST FUND WHILE ALSO DRIVING MEDICARE INTO HIGHER LEVELS OF DEFICIT SPENDING WE WILL SEE WHETHER MY WIFE’S OPTIMISM OR MY PESSIMISM WAS IN FACT CORRECT OVER THE LONGER TERM!

Tesla just made it’s first annual profit in ten years and now has a stock value that makes it more valuable than Ford and GM combined! Combined vehicle sales from GM and Ford equal over 4 million while Tesla shipped less than 10% of this number in 2019! This goes beyond irrational and is more likely insane exuberance! Makes you wonder how many they would have sold without government subsidies. Musk loves businesses that get government money and who can blame him!

That said Tesla is a niche car company and as the major auto guys move into his niche EV market he has nowhere to go but down and maybe out! Both Ford and VW signed an agreement last year to team up on EV’s. No one is going to buy Tesla stock at anywhere near its current price, once they start to see some real competition from them.

Art Buchwald was an American humorist best known for his column in The Washington Post. I remember seeing him in an interview where he said that he did not accept invitations to White House Dinners because he thought it might be an attempt to influence his reporting. Today News reporters can be seen in tuxs or gowns attending State dinners all the time! In that regard Broadcast News was a great movie about the beginning of the decline of responsible reporting in this country.

Reporters are now bigger than the stories they are reporting on. In fact as I write this the State of Connecticut has declared it news anchor Denise D’ascenzo day! Quite sure that both Art Buchwald and Walter Cronkite are looking down at what has become of news business and are shaking their heads in disgust!

OK the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is projecting the budget deficit to reach 31 Trillion dollars by 2030. This would amount to a whopping 98% of US GDP. However none of this debt includes the Green New Deal, Medicare for all, Slave Reparations, or the elimination of College loans. So basically the CBO is just addressing the tip of the ice berg.

While the US hasn’t seen this level of debt since WW2 the difference is that coming off of a War that had bombed our competition (Germany, Japan) back to the Stone Age America was producing 50% of the world GDP and could charge whatever price they wanted for it. At the same time the US Government could tax whatever they wished without doing any short term harm to the economy. Those conditions will not exist the next time around and very likely we will be reaching a 98% debt level well before 2030 given the above!

Should we eliminate the college and go to a popular vote only, then we should expect future Presidential winners could receive even lower percentages than John Quincy Adams!

If you are going to throw any kind of tax payer money at a sports team owner at least require the owner to sign over ownership of the team name to the City or State Government that is giving them the money!

THE GOVERNOR OF “CALLY FOR KNEE AH” SIGNED INTO LAW A BILL ALLOWING COLLEGE ATHLETES TO EARN ENDORSEMENT MONEY FROM FOLKS LIKE NIKE, UNDER ARMOUR ETC….THE NCAA IS OBJECTING BECAUSE THIS WOULD GIVE CALIFORNIA SCHOOLS A HUGE RECRUITING ADVANTAGE OVER STATES THAT DO NOT ALLOW THIS!

THIS IS JUST THE OPENING GAMBIT TO EVENTUALLY PAYING ALL COLLEGE ATHLETES WHO PLAY SPORTS. THE FACT IS THE MAJORITY OF ENDORSEMENT MONEY WILL FLOW TO MEN’S BASKETBALL AND FOOTBALL SUPER STARS. THIS INEQUITY WILL DRIVE THOSE GETTING THE FUZZY END OF THE LOLLIPOP TO PUSH FOR EVERYONE GETTING “PAY TO PLAY” DOLLARS. THIS IN TURN WILL CREATE AT STATE COLLEGES A NEW CLASS OF HIGHLY PAID STATE EMPLOYEES.

So according to the Washington Post “Democracy Dies in Darkness” but when one of their reporters raised the issue of Kobe Bryant having been accused in the past of sexual assault she was suspended by her editor. Apparently the lady reporter who was a victim of a sexual assault as well was receiving death threats so she spent the night in a hotel rather than her own home!

I remember when the LA Times reported that just days after being charged with sexually assaulting a hotel employee in Colorado, Kobe Bryant gave a purple diamond ring worth a reported $4 million to his wife. Frankly when you consider the outpouring of grief at the Staple Center it reminds me of when Elvis died. Sorry folks he was just a basketball player and you all need to get a life!

The Red Herring has endorsed the Black Foxx for her re-election as Cook County State Attorney. Kim Foxx is the lady who let Jussie Smollet off the hook when he claimed that he was attacked by a couple of white MAGA racists. Turns out it appears that he set up the attack on himself. So don’t expect Betsy Herring Warren Mann to be the 2020 Law and Order candidate! 

Illinois is the second-most corrupt state in the nation, according to the University of Illinois-Chicago. Powerful Illinois lawmakers, Chicago aldermen, local mayors and business interests are involved in what appears to be one of the most wide-ranging federal corruption investigations in state history.

So an American White Woman culturally appropriated a Mexican immigrant woman’s story and all hell has broken loose! Oprah’s endorsement of the book is problematic for her given the fact that she is neither Mexican nor an immigrant. That said Selma Hayek is both and she endorsed the book even before reading it! Which makes zero sense but that’s what Hollywood folks do.

Shakespeare wrote about a Prince of Denmark and a Jewish Shylock and he was neither! Was he a British Dirtbag or is this entire conversation about cultural appropriation ridiculous? And that is all I’m going to say about that!

Having thoughts, feelings, or motives that are easily perceived. What I like about both Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump is that they are both mostly transparent. Hillary Clinton was anything but transparent! In order for Democracy to work well for the people, politicians need to be honest and upfront with them. Trumps call to drain the swamp very likely works for Sanders but for different reasons. When Hillary says that nobody likes Bernie (and Trump for that matter) she is talking about the professional career politicians who are being rejected by both of them and wishing to keep it business as usual.

As America’s fortunes continue to decline the call for transparency will increase and that can only be good for democracy in the long term! However we will need to de-weaponize the political system by limiting the amount of dollars that can be expended here. Both businesses and unions need to be banned from making political campaign contributions as a start. We should allow only individual voters to only make contributions to political campaigns!

And that is all I’m going to say about that!

Ok so your last name starts with Butt and your parents must have known that you would grow up being the butt of everyone’s joke right? Like everyone I know has a big butt or dat be in the butt Bob. And if that isn’t enough his parents named him Peter! Really? Was his older brother named Willy? Or was his younger brother named Dick? And on top of all of this he turns out to be gay.

All that said he is clearly a very smart guy who did his turn with the military no less in spite of the all of the above! However at the tender age of 37 he is just not ready for prime time but has a very bright future ahead for himself. Better that he continue to get some more experience playing in the political minor leagues first!

THE CULTURE AT BOTH COMPANIES WAS SO INGRAINED THAT THERE WAS NO WAY THEY WERE GOING TO SUCCEED UNLESS THEY MADE WHOLESALE CHANGES TO THERE STAFF. AS A RESULT THEY NEVER SUCCEEDED IN DIVERSIFYING THEMSELVES!

AS WE MOVE TO A SOCIALIST COUNTRY EXPECT THAT THE PRODUCT YOU ARE CURRENTLY RECEIVING FROM THE PRIVATE SECTOR WILL BECOME MORE EXPENSIVE, WITH POORER QUALITY AND SERVICE ONCE IT IS BEING SUPPLIED BY THE US GOVERNMENT!

Hollywood is the “official” Public Relations firm for the Democrats! Given this I should have been weary when the movie critics raved about movie called Knives Out. Half way thru the movie I’m scratching my head as to why the critics gave it such rave reviews. By the final scene I understood why they did!

Turns out the movie is about a bunch of spoiled and greedy white folk and the immigrant nurse taking care of the father of the spoiled and greedy white folk. At the end of the movie the Hispanic nurse is triumphant over the white kids as she inherits the old man’s estate. The title made perfect sense as Hollywood’s knives are clearly out for privileged white people in the USA. But how many of the homeless immigrant folks living on the streets of LA LA Land have been taken in by Hollywood’s spoiled and greedy white actors into their huge mansions?

The official newspaper for the democrat party is endorsing two ladies for President, Warren and Klobuchar. The NY Times has endorsed a democrat for President in every election since 1960! Very likely the Times would prefer Warren but she is so far left that even Trump has a shot at beating her so they are playing it safe by endorsing a moderate lady as well! As I’ve already said I’m supporting Amy for President. I don’t trust the Red Herring as far as I can throw her…

The only real concern I have with electing a woman, is electing one who feels she has to out man a man to prove that she is up to the job. For example the first lady Attorney General Janet Reno thought she had to storm the Branch Dividian compound in Waco TX which resulted in 25 kids being killed there. Worst yet this incident inspired Timothy McVeigh blowing up a federal building in Oklahoma killing another 168 people! I’m betting that Betsy is more like Reno than Amy is!

I remember a local Mayor being condemned by the Reverend Sharpton and the mainstream media as being a racist for not allowing the city employees to take the MLK holiday off with pay! The reality was that the Mayor did not want to give the city’s union employees another holiday but rather they could chose to take MLK Day or Columbus Day or what have you.

Having worked in the private sector I have never had MLK day as a holiday! As the Grandfather of two grandkids of color would be nice to think that they could at least be offered the choice of taking or not taking this day. Even better if they grew up in world that just saw them for the two beautiful and smart little kids that they are!

Brian Lamb the co-founder of C-SPAN asked a reporter from the USA Today why the media has gotten so partisan and what can be done about it. A few weeks later on C-SPAN, NBC correspondent Andrea Mitchell is saying that we have to get back to fact base reporting. So if the media is partisan and not reporting the facts then what exactly are they doing? Yup, Fake News!

The media is upset because they will not be allowed to perform their constitutional duty during the Senate Impeachment of Trump. where is it written in the US Constitution that the press has constitutional rights? More Fake News! When a democratic people can no longer rely on their Free Press for fact based, non-partisan reporting we end up looking just like a Trump relay! That is definitely not going to make America Great Again!

As President he is the chief law enforcement officer and on top of this a lawyer as well! I remember at about this same time Pee Wee Herman was arrested for ejaculating in a public space and thinking that the Oval Office is a public space also! In the end Clinton should have been censured by Congress! Trump who RBG has said is not a lawyer should be censured as well! So as Pee Wee says “Connect the dots, la la la la. My wife and I told our 3 kids who have 4 masters degrees and a PhD between them that we would pick up their instate college costs only but any difference was on them. They worked hard got scholarships and grants and they’re in great shape. Why they should have to pick up some else college tab when they agreed to pick up there own is beyond me! But hey that is the way it’s going in this country and in the next ten years a Bernie or Betsy will be throwing that and way more at these folks.

The Donald who has been aggressively courting the Jewish vote recently issued an executive order against The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions of Israel movement on US college campuses who take federal money. Since its creation in 1948 America has effectively given Israel a blank check which the President is exploiting to it greatest possible extent. When the history of American world leadership is written, no doubt this will be seen as significant contributor to the USA’s decline!

General Qassem Suleimani to operate against the USA in Iraq! But I do recall all of the dancing in the street there after the USA deposed Saddam Hussein. Does our State Department have any idea who our REAL friends are or are they all enemies over there?

A few months ago while walking with my wife in Boston we stopped at a cross walk next to a lady pushing a baby’s carriage. This lady decided to jaywalk when a cab came quickly around a corner. Recently my wife retired after 25 year career working at a private elementary school first as a teacher and then as assistant head of school. She suffered from a severe form of PTSD otherwise known as Parent, Teacher, Student, Disfunction. For very good reasons the Parents are worried sick about their kids future and as a result failure is no longer a teaching option in our schools in-spite of the fact that some of these kids need a swift academic kick in the butt on occasion!

So the youngsters want to fix climate change by using wind and solar energy only. While promising this is not a proven technology storage capacity wise. Therefore too soon to bet the farm on wind and solar but according to the UN substantial progress needs to be made very quickly!

The extreme alternative solution to the above is to greatly reduce the consumption of carbon by greatly reducing the number of people consuming it. However even if that were possible it would take way too long for that to happen unless there was a mass die off due to starvation, a major pandemic or world war. Sorry but if we don’t get climate change right we just might find ourselves facing one or more of these if we want to or not! Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that!

In California you have record numbers of homeless living in some of their cities. But of course most of these are in fact homeless illegal immigrants who are living on the street or should I say someones car! In fact there are also record numbers of car burglaries happening there as well. However the cops will not prosecute these folks unless the car owner can prove that they had locked their car doors!

After all any reasonably thinking homeless person is going to believe that you left your car door unlocked on purpose, so that they could have a roof over their head and if they should help themselves to the contents of your automobile, well that is just the equivalent of a hotel leaving chocolates on your pillow!

Never understood why people spend thousands of dollars on funerals. My oldest brother spent big bucks planting himself above ground and in doors! In the end most of these ex-folks are going to end up like Richard the Third, underneath a paved over parking lot.

Recently the local Catholic Church raided their cemetery funds that they hold for in perpetuity care of the graves in their cemeteries. They did this so that they could payoff lawsuits caused by molesting Priests. Frankly unbelievable that they would compound their PR problems by appearing to look like a bunch of grave robbers! But perhaps it is ironic that they might have to eventually sell the church land for parking lots which of course is exactly where they found Richard III.

GIVEN THE LONG TERM CHALLENGES AMERICA FACES IN THE PACIFIC AND THE FACT THAT EUROPE HAS COMPLETELY RECOVERED FROM WW2 IT IS WELL PAST THE TIME TO CUT THE CORD OVER THERE AND BRING OUR TACTICAL FORCES HOME AND/OR REPOSITION THEM TO ASIA! BUT WE SHOULD CONTINUE TO PROVIDE A STRATEGIC NUCLEAR UMBRELLA TO THE EU! AMERICA CAN NO LONGER ECONOMICALLY SUSTAIN A TWO FRONT MILITARY CAPABILITY AND SOME VERY HARD MILITARY CHOICES NEED TO BE MADE BY THE USA!

A favor or advantage granted or expected in return for something. Quite sure over the years that the USA expected some sort of quid pro quo in exchange for money or military arms! Why would we give something to a foreign government and not expect something in return! So the real question here is what is an acceptable Quid pro quo? For sure many favors we asked for over the years were designed to help the party in power! The specific issue then is it acceptable for one political candidate to use quid pro quo to go after a political opponent. Doesn’t pass my smell test!

But the larger concern here is that the Ukraine episode could taint the future of using all Quid’s. Denny Presidential candidate McGovern railed against America getting involved with a Civil War (Vietnam) during the campaign of 1972. Can’t help but believe that this influenced Demmy President Clinton’s willingness to get involved with the Rwandan Civil War that would lead to the genocide of over 1 million people! It should not become all bad or all good and generally speaking we should be open to any and all exceptions that prove the rule!

AND LETS FACE IT AN ANGRY SIXTEEN YEAR OLD HASN’T GOT A CLUE ABOUT MAKING VERY HARD TRADE OFFS EITHER!

SAME THING WITH BREXIT AS THE STORY FROM THE LEFT WAS THE VOTE TO DELAY THE ACTUAL EXIT AS OPPOSED TO THE VOTE TO ACTUALLY EXIT! THE UK PARLIAMENT DID IN FACT VOTE 329 TO 299 TO LEAVE THE EU BUT THIS WAS NOT THE HEADLINE IN THE LEFT LEANING MEDIA!

IN FACT, HAVING JUST BEEN TOLD BY THE JUDGE THAT YOU CAN’T CONSIDER HOW MUCH THE LAWYER GETS THE ONLY GRANDMA ON MY JURY (WHO WAS LITERALLY KNITTING SOMETHING FOR ONE OF HER GRAND KIDS) ANNOUNCED THAT WE SHOULD AWARD 1 MILLION BUCKS TO THE VICTIM BECAUSE HIS LAWYER TAKES SUCH A LARGE CUT! FRANKLY, WE NEED EITHER A PROFESSIONAL JURY SYSTEM OR ALLOW THE JUDGE TO DECIDE THESE CIVIL AWARDS. TODAY EVEN 3 LARGE WOULD BE CONSIDERED CHUMP CHANGE!

BACK IN THE GOOD OLD DAYS IF A POLITICIAN HAD LEFT OVER POLITICAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS THEY COULD POCKET THEM PERSONALLY AS LONG AS THEY PAID INCOME TAX ON THEM! WHILE THEY CAN’T DO THAT TODAY YOU CAN APPARENTLY SIT ON THEM, TAKE JOE KENNEDY #2 WHO HAS LEFT OVER CONTRIBUTIONS OF 2.8 MILLION DOLLARS EVEN THOUGH HE HASN’T RUN FOR OFFICE IN OVER 20 YEARS! THE THINKING IS THAT HE WILL GIVE IT ALL TO HIS SON JOE #3 WHEN HE RUNS FOR WARREN’S US SENATE.

THIS IS ALMOST AS BAD AS ALLOWING JOE #2 TO DECLARE THESE CONTRIBUTIONS AS PERSONAL INCOME AND A LAW NEEDS TO BE PASSED THAT THIS MOOLAH SHOULD BE RETURNED OR AT LEAST PASSED ON TO WHATEVER PARTY THEY REPRESENTED. OTHERWISE YOU WILL HAVE THESE FAMILY POLITICAL BRANDS PASSING IT ON FROM ONE GENERATION TO THE NEXT!

I neither support zero immigration nor do I support letting everyone in! My guess is that an overwhelming majority of Americans would agree with this statement as well.

In 1960 approximately 5% of the USA population were immigrants. By 2015 this percentage grew to 14% of the population and is projected to grow to 18% by the year 2065 if this trend continues.

RECENTLY A NEWLY ADMITTED COLLEGE MALE FRESHMAN WHILE TAKING A SHOWER IN ONE STALL REACHED INTO THE NEXT SHOWER STALL HOLDING A CELL PHONE. A FEMALE SOPHOMORE WAS IN THAT STALL AND REPORTED THE YOUNG MAN TO SECURITY WHO IN TURN WOULD BE EXPELLED THE SAME DAY. IT DOES BEG THE QUESTION OF HOW THE YOUNG MAN COULD HAVE DONE THIS WITH A DOOR ON THE SHOWER BUT ONE ASSUMES THAT THE STALL ONLY HAD A CURTAIN.

CO-ED DORMS AND CO-ED SHOWERS EQUAL CO-ED SEXUAL HARASSMENT PROBLEMS. SHOULD ANY ONE REALLY BE AMAZED AT THIS? LEGALLY THEY MAY BE ADULTS WHEN THEY ARE THINKING WITH THEIR BIG HEADS. AFTER THE COLD WAR ENDED I FOUND MYSELF WORKING FOR TWO DIFFERENT COMPANIES THAT SUPPLIED PRODUCTS FOR MILITARY APPLICATIONS. I WAS HIRED TO HELP MOVE THEM INTO THE COMMERCIAL PRIVATE SECTOR. ONE OF THESE COMPANIES ON TIME DELIVERY RECORD WAS ONLY 60%. COMING FROM A COMMERCIAL BACKGROUND I UNDERSTOOD THAT THIS WAS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE BUT APPARENTLY TOLERATED BY THEIR MILITARY CUSTOMERS.

THE OTHER COMPANY SUPPLIED A PRODUCT THAT REQUIRED SOME MAINTENANCE OVER TIME BUT THE EXPECTATION WAS THAT, THAT WAS THE CUSTOMERS PROBLEM. IN THE COMMERCIAL MARKET THE CUSTOMER HAD MANY DIFFERENT VENDOR CHOICES (COMPETITION) AND SERVICE WAS A KEY VENDOR ISSUE. THE CULTURE AT BOTH COMPANIES WAS SO INGRAINED THAT THERE WAS NO WAY THEY WERE GOING TO SUCCEED UNLESS THEY MADE WHOLESALE CHANGES TO THERE STAFF. AS A RESULT THEY NEVER SUCCEEDED IN DIVERSIFYING THEMSELVES!

AS WE MOVE TO A SOCIALIST COUNTRY EXPECT THAT THE PRODUCT YOU ARE CURRENTLY RECEIVING FROM THE PRIVATE SECTOR WILL BECOME MORE EXPENSIVE, WITH POORER QUALITY AND SERVICE ONCE IT IS BEING SUPPLIED BY THE US GOVERNMENT!

AND THAT IS ALL I’M GOING TO SAY ABOUT THAT!

In 2018, 55 police officers died as a result of felonious acts with 51 of these murdered by guns! That same year the cops would kill 992 people of which 452 were white, 229 were black and 164 were Hispanic.  The USA black population is 12.1% while the percent killed by cops is 23%, almost twice the black population % wise (229 divided by 992). Of the total killed 939 were men and 52 were women.

The recent police killings in Texas of two black people in their homes is very troubling and does make you wonder if there is too much testosterone in our police departments or perhaps just too many ex-military or just not enough training! Either way the trend in charging and convicting police may well slow down these tragic incidences. We understand that this may result in the police not aggressively pursuing justice as they have in the past but that is not all bad! Sorry but both Texas cops should have only been charged with manslaughter and not murder!

And that is all I’m going to say about that!

Many years ago I knew someone whose  first wife took his namesake son into the garage and turn the car on. He would remarry and have another Junior. Several years later I was working for a Junior whose father had divorced his mother. Senior then remarried and had a second son naming him after himself of course, now having two sons with the very same name!!!

Shortly after this I met a guy who was a #4. When I asked him if his father was #3 he said no that #3 was his oldest brother who had died before he was born. Teddy Roosevelt was a Junior until his father died but his son would became Junior instead of a #3 which is of course what he actually was. NANCY PELOSI’S STRATEGY THEREFORE IS TO IMPEACH TRUMP AND PUT THE SENATE REPUBLICANS ON THE SPOT BY FORCING THEM TO VOTE TO NOT REMOVE TRUMP IN EARLY 2020. THIS IN TURN IS SUPPOSED TO ENHANCE SENATE DEMOCRAT CANDIDATES CHANCES OF UNSEATING WEAK REPUBLICAN SENATE CANDIDATE! MIGHT JUST WORK AS LONG AS THEY HAVE A CONVINCING CASE! SO FAR THEY HAVE HAD LITTLE SUCCESS WITH MUELLER AND HIS RUSSIAN INVESTIGATION! PERHAPS THE UKRAINE WILL PUT THEM OVER THE FINISH LINE BUT NANCY SHOULD HOLD A VOTE TO CONDUCT AND IMPEACHMENT PROCESS FIRST

PERHAPS NO SURPRISE THEN THAT THE UNEMPLOYMENT RATES FOR BLACKS IS HIGHER THAN FOR BOTH HISPANICS AND WHITES!

IT HAS BEEN ARGUED THAT SOME OF THE ABOVE IS AN OUTGROWTH OF THE WELFARE STATE THAT MADE SELF-DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOR LESS COSTLY FOR THE INDIVIDUAL. HAVING KIDS WITHOUT THE BENEFIT OF MARRIAGE IS LESS BURDENSOME IF THE MOTHER RECEIVES HOUSING SUBSIDIES, WELFARE PAYMENTS AND FOOD STAMPS. HOW THEN DOES PAYING SLAVE REPARATIONS TO PEOPLE WHO WERE NEVER SLAVES HELP ANY OF THIS AS WELL?

I remember when the main stream media from the left went after VP Dan Quayle. They went after him for mis-spelling Potato with an (e). The fact was that the teacher mis-spelled it on the card she handed to him but the media did not want to embarrass the teachers union and conveniently went after him instead!

They went after the VEEP again for seeking a change to the Federal Wetland definition because it would cut wetland designations by 50 per cent. The fact was a wetland can be dry for almost eleven and a half months and he wanted to change it to only eleven months of being dry to qualify as a wetland!. Wow shouldn’t a wetland be wet at least 51% of the time? Once again the left leaning media went after him instead of their the environmental left allies.

Finally the media took him on over TV’s Murphy Brown’s out of wed lock baby in spite of the fact that it was skyrocketing in the USA. The left leaning media did not want to embarrass their Hollywood allies!

THIS INEQUITY WILL DRIVE THOSE GETTING THE FUZZY END OF THE LOLLIPOP TO PUSH FOR EVERYONE GETTING “PAY TO PLAY” DOLLARS. THIS IN TURN WILL CREATE AT STATE COLLEGES A NEW CLASS OF HIGHLY PAID STATE EMPLOYEES.

French President Macron is correct that the EU needs their own national military! Unfortunately for Macron the EU is up to their eyeballs in debt and withdrawing from their international military (NATO) would require a nationalistic political will that does not exist. The EU can do one or the other, it can’t do both. Eventually the USA will come to this same conclusion. America can either defend itself in the East or the West but not both. Over time the US will continue to move its increasingly limited military assets to the Pacific.
