What I frankly don’t understand then is why after viability it is still called a fetus instead of a baby. Calling it a baby would of course imply that it has legal rights and why shouldn’t it?

As a first generation American on my German paternal side, I am grateful that America took them in as my father would have likely ended up frozen to death in a snowbank outside of Moscow. During the last great depression FDR impregnated the USA with socialism when he created the Social Security System. Today being barely pregnant is ok and many might even be okay with being just 1, 2 or even 3 months pregnant. But most are not ready to see a Socialistic baby born in the USA just yet!

Ironically when Social Security was created the life expectancy was 64, today it’s 80 and as a result the boomers will strip every last dollar that their kids have put into it. Once that happens it then effectively becomes a welfare program for the boomers.

Feel the bern and the red herring who claim to be progressive liberals will end up looking like conservative socialists as compared to their successor in the demmy party once we crash and burn again!

The Great Recession should have been a minor depression but because we borrowed several trillion dollars it became a recession only. Here we are more than ten years later and we have not only not paid back a dime of this debt but in fact have added to it!

As a result we are headed for a really Great Depression which will occur sometime over the next decade. The fact is we were headed for a depression given the increasing deficit as a result of the boomers retiring and wishing to live just like they did when they were working.

The effect of Medicare debt, of interest payments for buying our way out of the last recession and of the disappearing Social Security trust fund will result in a Global Depression. In the end it would have been less painful in the long term if we had not bought our way out of the Great Recession. We should have allowed GM and the bankrupt banks to have tanked instead of bailing them out. But that is exactly what will happen the next around!

Recently Trump took some shots at the London Mayor just before his visit to the UK. But the Mayor had first compared him to Hitler which of course is ridiculous. Perhaps if we had a fact driven media it would have taken the London Mayor to task instead of leaving it all for Trump to do!

Regrettably in today’s media environment it is difficult for objective thinking people to make any kind of intelligent political decisions! And that is all I have to say about that!

Electricity is the life’s blood of any modern economy. The political establishment understands that if they run out of it for any length of time the people will use their voting power to punish them.

While the power elite is concerned with climate change they are not going to go all in for energy sources that rely on sunny or windy days! Unfortunately the nicer class are holding the political left hostage to using those kinds of renewables only. These same politicians are promising to do this over the next 40 years! 

Maybe this will work out by then or maybe it will be too late and we will lose the climate change war. What we do know is that nuclear power does not produce carbon and has killed far fewer people than global warming has already. Let’s build these plants in such quantities that we can eliminate all coal and gas power plants and then build some more to eliminate the use of all gas in homes, buildings and cars!

As the world continues this economic transition the west will become increasingly unstable politically which if we are not smart and careful will produce some very unfortunate results for America and/or the west or even perhaps globally.

After 3 years of stalking Trump the Demmy’s should have been focused on Russia and China instead. All of which has become an afterthought to the immense satisfaction of Putin and Xi! Trump’s “dis-election” might accelerate the increasing color versus no color divide in the USA. This belief on the extreme right could be driven even more so if the Demmy’s succeed in impeaching him first!

THIS IS UNFORTUNATE AS WE ARE BEGINNING TO SEE THE EMERGENCE OF THE RADICAL LEFT IN RESPONSE TO THE EMERGENCE OF THE RADICAL RIGHT. THOSE OF US IN THE MIDDLE WILL HAVE TO INCREASINGLY HOLD OUR NOSES AND PICK THE LESSOR OF TWO EVILS!

IF YOU ASKED PEOPLE TO NAME THE BEST BUSINESS LEADER FOR THE LAST HALF OF THE 20TH CENTURY NO QUESTION THAT JACK WELCH’S NAME WOULD APPEAR VERY HIGH ON THIS LIST.

WOULD OUR LEADERS THEN MAKE LESS INTELLIGENT DECISIONS WITH FEWER AGENCIES? OR MAYBE WE SHOULD GO THE OTHER WAY AND HAVE 34 INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES SPENDING 120 BILLION DOLLARS SO THAT OUR POLS CAN THEN MAKE TWICE AS GOOD INTELLIGENCE DECISIONS!

UNFORTUNATELY AT THE PRESENT TIME IT DOESN’T SEEM LIKE THE PRESIDENT IS LISTENING TO ANY OF THEM SO WHY NOT JUST GET RID OF THEM ALL AND SAVE ALL THAT DOUGH! AFTER ALL WHERE WERE THESE FOLKS WHEN OSAMA WAS PLANNING TO FLY AMERICAN BUILT AIRPLANES INTO AMERICAN BUILT BUILDINGS?

Under Trump the debt has increased by 2 trillion and with Pelosi’s call to increase the debt limit will rise again this year by another trillion. The world is headed for a global depression which will occur sometime in the next decade.

With the extreme left demanding trillions for Medicare for all, trillions for slave reparations and trillions for climate change the haves in the USA will have way less. Because the haves in this country are mostly white the double whammy of a depression coupled with a wealth transfer of taxes will increase the color versus no color political divide in the USA.

Class Warfare driven by both an economic depression and by race could get really ugly really quickly. If the right and the left continue to move to their extremist positions this will make this tragedy all the more likely.

And that is all I have to say about that!

We are no longer focused on getting the best result but rather focused on having the fairest process.  We shouldn’t be very surprised by this as our kids have trunk loads of trophies for coming in last place! To make matters worse they were all on the honor roll as well!

Winning is no longer everything here unless of course you are an Asian immigrant and in that case your winning all of the spelling bees. Until the last one of course where there were 8 winners, Six of whom were Asian. This is sort of like Harvard giving A’s 85% of the time!

In those cases nobody loses and everybody wins. That is until someone else comes along and decides that they would rather get the best result. My guess is, that will be somewhere in Asian where you actually don’t get an award for coming in last place or make the honor roll just because everyone else does. Failure needs to become an option again in America as we learn way more from them than we do from hollow victories.

When you consider the huge disconnect between the black and white communities over OJ Simpsons potential guilt in the murder of his ex-wife you understood that unless that changed it was going to rear its ugly head someday.

Personally I thought that it was going to happen sooner as opposed to later but believe that it is now just beginning to emerge over the black lives matter issue and slave reparations. These calls for reparations for slave’s long dead will likely drive this wedge even deeper between folks of color and no color.

As a nation we have not addressed the lingering PTSD of the Jim Crow era inflicted on our fellow Americans. Just like our war veterans we need to provide both mental and educational support to them!

Back in the day Eighteen year old’s could buy booze. Then car fatalities increased dramatically and now it’s back to 21. Many States have or are moving the cigarette and vaping ages up to 21 as well.

While in New York you must now be 21 to become a baby surrogate and yet 18 year old’s can still vote for or against the most powerful person in the world! Not only that but recently 126 US Congress people voted to lower the voting age to 16.

When I was Sixteen all I wanted to do was to smoke, drink and have sex. You’ve taken most of that away!!! But instead we want to give 16 year old’s the right to vote.

Research shows that kids don’t have a fully developed prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain involved in decision-making and impulse control until their 20’s or even 30’s I’m thinking that A.O.C. who wanted to give them the vote doesn’t have one of those either….

I don’t expect The Donald to win the 2020 election but then again I didn’t expect him to win in 2016 either! Trump of course is not running against himself and so to some extent his trump card may be how far left his Democrat opponent is forced to go.

The NY Times is suggesting that he could win the electoral college but lose even more with the popular vote then he did in 2016. If that happens expect even more blue states to legislate that their electoral colleges will declare for whomever wins the national popular vote. Currently there are 15 states that have already passed this type of legislation.

This will eventually open the door to multiple party candidates. If it does this cure could be way worse than the disease! And that is all I have to say about that!

So a judge rules that an immigrant minor has to be released in 21 days and what happens is that adult immigrant men accompanied by kids goes from 2% to 30% because they understand they will be released with the kid they brought with them at the same time! So the FEDS start doing DNA testing and discover that a significant percentage of the men and kids are not even related!

Recently the Mayor of LA and the Governor of California were shocked to find the huge increase of homeless folks living there. But this should not have been a big surprise given the above! And while they are both appalled at the conditions of the internment camps that Trump is running are the conditions of being homeless in California any better? Plus what happens to the unrelated kids after they are released with the non-relative adult!

My god she’s fat again! Over the years I have watched her weight go up and down like a yo yo! What does she do? She goes out and buys a company called weight watchers. This of course is very ironic because that is exactly what everyone on the planet has been doing with her! So what does she do then? She changes the name to WW. A good move!

As for myself I’ve been on a slim slow diet as opposed to a slim fast one for years! The fact is Rome wasn’t dismantled in a day and starvation type diets are very problematic because once you’ve lost the weight you tend to go right back to eating the same things again.

So consider a slim slow diet approach and make one small permanent change to your eating and once you’ve accomplished that make another small permanent change until you’ve lost what you need to. I went from 208 to 175 and have kept the weight off for the last decade. But whatever you do be sure to consult your doctor first!

What I frankly don’t understand then is why after viability it is still called a fetus instead of a baby. Calling it a baby would of course imply that it has legal rights and why shouldn’t it?

NOTE: The new New York abortion law apparently means that the baby/fetus can be aborted right up to the day of its birth!

Had they both gone after Stalin first perhaps the world would have been divided into three spheres of influence with Germany running Europe, Japan running Asia and the USA running the Western Hemisphere. In that case 2/3rd’s of the world would have been in the grip of dictatorships.

One of the most nationalistic country’s in the world is Israel (for very understandable reasons) and all three real Secretary’s of State were very supportive even throwing billions of USA taxpayer money and weapon systems at them.

After the Civil War, southern white male democrats began to practice wide spread voter suppression against black male voters. These big city white guys are still democrats and still leading the Democratic Party but what can be seen from the democrat primaries of 2018 is that these white guy days of leading the democrat party are numbered! And rightly so! As for suppression and fraud expect them to be practiced by one or the other party. We need the Freedom card NOW!

Not all that long ago the environmental community raved about their efforts to clean up Pittsburgh! In the end all they really accomplished was to move the steel plants to Asia and into plants that belched out even more carbon!
On top of this they are actively pushing back on the use of non-carbon generating nuclear power plants in favor of wind and solar which will not provide anything close to what the world needs for energy.
But on the upside at least the most famous greenhead of them all, Leonardo DiCaprio has ditched his private jet and is now flying commercial!!!

Plus all of the ex-union steelworkers would then go on to vote for the pro climate changer Trump.

The left was never thrilled about the Clintons in general but more specifically not with Hillary’s political miscalculation regarding the Iraq #2 war. For these reasons the left and their mainstream media allies went all out to break the black ceiling instead.

While the left loved Bernie the mainstream media understood that Clinton had the nomination locked up compliments of the Super Delegates. This time around the left and their mainstream media allies are beginning to move to either Elizabeth Warren’s or Kamala Harris’s direction and unless they do something very stupid likely the next President and VP nominees of the party! Will it be a Warren Harris or a Harris Warren ticket? Will see…

BEGINNING IN 1992 DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES WOULD WIN CALIFORNIA WITH HILLARY CLINTON GETTING 62% OF THE VOTE IN 2016.

I thought that Michelle Robinson Obama was great First Lady. When her husband’s ex Attorney General Holder went low she scolded him for not going high! But the  political conversation in the country continues to get lower and lower on both side.

RECENT PICTURES OF A SIMILAR TRAGEDY INVOLVING A 2 YEAR OLD GIRL AND HER FATHER DROWNING IN THE RIO GRANDE SHOULD RIGHTLY BE BLAMED ON SPEAKER PELOSI. THE USA NEEDS TO FIX ITS ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION PROBLEM BUT UNFORTUNATELY WITH 2/3RD’s OF THE WORLD LAWYERS HERE THAT WILL BE NO EASY THING! I neither support zero immigration nor do I support letting everyone in! My guess is that an overwhelming majority of Americans would agree with this statement as well.

In 1960 approximately 5% of the USA population were immigrants. By 2015 this percentage grew to 14% of the population and is projected to grow to 18% by the year 2065 if this trend continues.

My mother had ten of these! I remember for the last one that I woke up one morning to my father asleep in bed and my mother nowhere to be seen. After a few minutes the phone rang and my father yelled “it’s a girl” and went back to sleep.

My wife had three of these! I was there for all three natural child births. Unlike my mother who was knocked out for hers, my wife was awake and screaming for hers. An amazing experience and I will always remember cutting my youngest umbilical cord.

The mother’s of my four beautiful grandkids are no longer being prepped but are having saddle blocks to avoid the screaming of natural child birth. What I would call the perfect compromise between my mother and wife’s experiences!

Besides building pyramids and piles of debt we are burying ourselves under tons of lawsuits! The fact is we are using the legal system in much the same way the French used the guillotine during their revolution. This isn’t to say that the first 200 Frenchman didn’t have it coming to them, it’s the next 20,000 “off with their heads” that the mob demanded that is more difficult to justify! With the emergence of the social media mob the legal environment in the USA will become increasingly more challenging. It is one thing to drink justice from a glass, something else to drink it from the bottom of the Potomac. Unfortunately as 40% of Congress are lawyers you should expect no help from this quarter anytime soon…

The world is undergoing another leadership change with power shifting from the West to the East. The better class of people in the West are moving to take control over their governments. The last time this happened you had the better class of the “peace in our time” crowd in UK and the American Firster folks in the USA. Had these two groups moved against Fascism and Herr Hitler sooner perhaps just 6 dead Nazi’s as opposed to 60 million dead. One hopes that the better class does a better job* this time around. As for the worser class they have no one to blame but themselves had they done a better job since the end of WWII maybe we would not have found ourselves in this kind of boat!

Los Angeles teachers are on strike for more money and less pupils! So less work for more pay the standard union mantra. Very likely the democratically controlled city will end up throwing more good money after bad there. Would be interesting to see in those countries that are beating the USA in education; how many pupils they have, how many days they go to school and how much the teachers are paid as compared to teachers in LA.
The Teachers Union want kids to start earlier which of course requires hiring more teachers as opposed to extending the school year which doesn’t. And you do have to ask yourself if older kids retain things better than younger ones!

Note la la teachers have settled for more money and less work!!!!

Some very smart people are predicting that this is the century of China. But when will they replace America as the world leader? The best case scenario for the West is not until 2099. The worst case scenario for the West is 2020.

But let’s say the better class of folk are correct and China does in fact become a democracy but not until say 2055. In that case in 2020 you have a world leader that is a dictatorship for another 35 years. On the other hand by 2099 you would have had a Chinese democracy for 44 years.

What is America’s long term strategy for obtaining the best worldwide outcome? Given the present conversation in Washington, we clearly do not have one! So you should expect America to lose its leadership role sooner as opposed to later in this century!

In the age of the internet and email who needs snail mail? The fact is most of the mail you get today are catalogs and junk mail. Do we really have to deliver this junk on Saturday also? THE NET EFFECT WILL BE TO DRIVE EVEN MORE  JOBS TO CHINA (ASIA). NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE WORLD WILL BECOME EVEN MORE POLLUTED…

A LOSE/LOSE FOR AMERICA (AND THE WEST).        

After World War II America’s track record in Asia was extremely problematic. For starters in China, the USA backed the wrong warlord. This would result in our “losing” China, which in turn would provoke our involvement in Korea, ending in a very bloody tie. JFK would then commit the USA to fighting in Vietnam by effectively “green lighting” the assassination of President Diem. Not to be outdone LBJ would then hamstring the military’s ability to fight ending in a humiliating defeat for the US. As China continues to emerge the reunification of its country will become an increasing pinch point for the West. To a lesser extent the reunification of Korea could minimize any potential pinch points in Asia as well.   

PRINT, TV, CABLE, INTERNET, BLOGS, SOCIAL MEDIA HAVE MADE FOR AN EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT. THE MORE BLOOD AND GUTS THE MORE ATTENTION A STORY GETS WITH VIEWERS. THE NEED TO BE THE FIRST WITH THE SCOOP IS DRIVING THE MARKET PLACE AND STORIES THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA WOULDN’T HAVE TOUCHED IN THE PAST ARE NOW APPEARING ALMOST EVERYWHERE.
AS A RESULT LITTLE ATTENTION AND EVEN LESS RESOURCES ARE BEING INVESTED INTO PUTTING THEM INTO ANY KIND OF OVERALL CONTEXT. DOING THAT OF COURSE COULD NOT ONLY IMPACT ON BEING FIRST TO MARKET BUT MIGHT ALSO EFFECT THE AMOUNT OF BLOOD THAT APPEARS IN THE STORY! BY THE TIME THE OTHER HALF OF THE STORY GETS OUT (IF THERE IS ONE AND IT DOES GET OUT) THE HARM HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE.

Recently Trump’s son in law was asked by a reporter if his father in law was a racist for attacking Obama over his place of birth. Both John McCain and Ted Cruz we’re challenged over this as McCain was born in Panama and Cruz in Canada.

None of the folks attacking John and Ted’s birtherism were accused of racism and so I assume in these cases all parties were white but would that have made any difference If the folks doing the attacking were black? Not really.

The only intelligent conversation here is what in fact the constitution requires of a person’s birth place in order to run for US President and what proof if any is required of them to prove it! Given the three examples above it doesn’t sound like much….

Otherwise known as Trump and Brexit! Given that both outcomes were completely unexpected the left in the US and the UK immediately went to work to reverse both! Pelosi and Bercow understand that reversing these outcomes without a clear mandate to do so could create an even bigger problem for them.

In the UK that would be the election of their version of Trump, Boris Johnson which would then be followed by a Brexit without an exit agreement with the EU. In the USA that would be a failed impeachment effort to remove Trump followed by his re-election in 2020.

Tactical driven folks are small picture short term driven. So if the short term trend is either up or down they are either happy or sad respectively. Strategic driven folks are big picture long term driven. So if the long term trend is either up or down they are either happy or sad respectively.

Needless to say tactical and strategic people are only in synch when the short and long terms trends are the same. Where there is a large mismatch especially during periods of significant disruption strategic thinking is far more important than tactical doing.

However this is a challenge for democracies as tactical doers greatly out number strategic thinkers.  In the West long term negative trends are being inflamed by an emerging social media creating a significant disruption on our existing political establishments!

I think because I was bottle fed that I grew up to be one of these. I remember driving by a State Park that had a sign saying that the La Leche League would be having a meeting there the next day. I told my wife that I was going to go to it dressed up as a milk carton and holding a got milk sign. She was not amused.

She had breast fed our three kids and when that ended her boobs ended up looking like two fried eggs hanging from a nail. Recently I learned that mothers milk sells for up to a 100 bucks an ounce. Had I known that, my wife would still have a great set of knockers. A WIN/WIN.

All that said I think that the men in the US Congress (while they are still in the majority) should pass two laws. One making it illegal for a woman to have breast reduction surgery and the other authorizing Obamacare to pick up 100% of the cost of breast enlargement surgery!

JOHN BERCOW THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OF COMMONS IN THE UK HAS DECIDED NOT TO ALLOW PRESIDENT TRUMP TO SPEAK TO PARLIAMENT. THIS IS BECAUSE HE BELIEVES THAT TRUMP IS BOTH A RACIST AND A SEXIST.

ON THE OTHER HAND IN 2015 HE ALLOWED CHINESE PRESIDENT XI JINPING TO SPEAK TO PARLIAMENT AND AS WE ALL KNOW THE PRESIDENT OF CHINA IS A WAY BETTER PERSON THAN TRUMP! OR COULD THE DIFFERENCE BE THAT XI HAS CONTROL OVER HIS MEDIA WHILE IN THE WEST THE MEDIA IS OUT OF CONTROL.

AS BOTH BREXIT AND TRUMP CAME IN AT ABOUT THE SAME TIME AND WAY THIS IS JUST ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF LEFT LEANING SPEAKERS OF THE HOUSES PLAYING POLITICS. EITHER WAY A HUGE PR WIN FOR CHINA…

In the drive to promote equality between the sexes it makes you wonder if the physically weaker sex are putting themselves in increasingly more dangerous situations.
Or perhaps it has nothing to do with this and it’s just naiveté on the part of some. But it does seem like we are hearing more god awful stories about young ladies who were jogging alone, or staying alone in a third world country or hiking alone in the wilderness. Yes this can and does happen to the physically stronger sex as well but either happens less or gets less media attention.
Sure everyone should be able to jog or hike or live anywhere they wish but that is still not the world we live in! As the father of two very smart and successful daughters I hope they take note of this and please be careful out there!

I have always found the golden globes to be aptly named! In general I’m supportive of the me too movement but do think that some ladies need to give the horny young guys and dirty old men more of a fighting chance to behave!
Yes, there needs to be zero tolerance for sexual assault but I can’t help but think that in some cases harassment is being conflated as assault. As for sexual harassment, I really need to know where harassment ends and free speech begins!

I used watch a lot of PBS. But back in the day I would stop watching it leading up to Presidential elections as their stories became way too partisan left for me. Since Trump’s election I have stopped watching it altogether as PBS has become partisan 24/7/365.

Today I am watching C-Span who unlike PBS does not take taxpayer money. Recently the founder of C Span was asking a reporter why the main stream media had become so partisan and what could be done about it. The fact is Print media is dying and when the New York Times is running stories on their front pages about the Kardashians you understand just how desperate they have become!

On top of all of this inexperienced Kids like AOC and Buttigieg would never have gotten this kind of media attention even just a few years ago. But Oh, just look at how far the politically mighty have fallen!

IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE POLITICAL DISCOURSE IN THIS COUNTRY BASED ONLY ON THE MOST OBVIOUS SYMPTOM THEN CLEARLY THE ONLY ISSUE HERE IS TRUMP.

HOWEVER THE ROOT CAUSE RUNS MUCH DEEPER THAN THIS AND IS ACTUALLY THE FINAL BATTLE BETWEEN CAPITALISM AND SOCIALISM FOR AMERICA’S  FUTURE.

Both Supreme Court Justice Thomas and HUD Secretary Carson are Yale graduates who have had very successful legal or medical careers. Unfortunately they are both Republican appointees who happen to be black. Because of this the party of color and their main stream media allies have been relentless in attacking their credibility.

Recently Justice Thomas has advocated for a change in the libel laws as it is almost impossible to sue the media if you are a famous person (not so in the rest of the world). In the 19^th Century, Europe lead by the British Empire was on first base. In the 20^th Century, America lead by the US was on first base. The powers to be understood the power of propaganda given its success in Germany in the 1930’s. It’s why they moved to regulate TV after the war. Ward was only ever going to be hard on his son Beaver and never hard on June’s!

The perfect propaganda storm began first with cable TV to be followed by the World Wide Web. Both of these developments would ultimately negate what the powers to be tried to do with regulated TV. Putting this genie back into the bottle will be hard on the rest of us!

Unfortunately on top of all of this 125 Congressional Democrats voted to give the right to vote to 16 year old’s. However the minimum driving age in New Jersey is 17 and in many other States 16 and half. But not to worry if the 16 year old doesn’t have his/her drive license come election day we are sure their Mommy or Daddy will drive them to the polls!

Gordon Gekko moved to China some years ago and is doing great there! The Chinese are very focused on making the buck. For example if  someone commits a serious crime in China, they are taken straight to the nearest rice patty where someone puts a bullet in their head.

Their organs are then harvested for sale to the highest western bidder while their body is then desiccated so that it can be put on display in a museum somewhere in the USA in return for a bucket load of cash!

NOW THE COLLEGE BOARD WANTS TO ADD AN ADVERSITY SCORE TO THEIR SAT’S AND THIS WOULD SOLVE THE URBAN EDUCATIONAL PROBLEM! THAT IS BECAUSE HISPANICS AND BLACKS SCORE LOWER ON THE SAT’S THEN ASIAN AND WHITE KIDS.

MANY INNER CITY BLACK AND HISPANIC PARENTS HAVE BEEN UPSET OVER THIS DISPARITY IN SAT PERFORMANCE OVER THE YEARS! ONCE YOU ADD THIS   ADVERSITY SCORE IN YOU SHOULD EXPECT AN IMPROVED SAT PERFORMANCE FROM THESE KIDS.

The Prohibition of Booze would begin as a very transparent political process with the Woman’s Temperance League calling for a ban on the sale and consumption of alcohol.
Unfortunately for the ladies, America was a country of beer swilling Germans, whiskey sipping Irishmen and wine slurping Italians and there was no way they were going to give up their favorite pastime!
So the anti-liquor wolves strapped on their sheep’s clothing and became a less transparent political process by morphing into the anti-saloon league. In other words we’re not going to take all of your booze away only your saloon. That worked wonders for the ladies who would then take off their sheep’s clothing and close not only the saloons but all of America’s breweries, wineries and distillers as well.
This social engineering effort would not only end as an abject failure but created long term organized crime problems for the US. The most important lesson from all of this is that while a political process may start as a completely transparent process they don’t always end that way! In the increasingly partisan environment we live in you should expect to see more of this!

Any future economic collapse in the US will drive the usual guns versus butter political debate. Only this time around we will have a much higher percentage of our population (60%) who will be largely dependent on government largesse. For the military this debate is made even more challenging given its conversion from a citizen soldier to a professional soldier. This disconnection of the armed forces from the vast majority of Americans who did not serve will make it even more likely that any future political decision will favor passing the fat* over passing the ammo!      

*If the voter’s choice comes down to Grandma living on her own (butter) or Grandma living in their basement (guns) then bring on the cholesterol

THE POLITICAL ESTABLISHMENT SIGNED OFF ON ALL OF THOSE FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS AND THEN COVERED THEIR TRACKS BY CREATING THE HOUSING BUBBLE.

I REMEMBER ATTENDING MY ONLY INDY 500 BACK IN THE DAY WHEN THEY WERE GETTING ALMOST 600,000 FOLKS AT THE BRICKYARD. FOR THE FIRST HOUR OF THE RACE PEOPLE ARE STANDING IN THE HOT SUN SIPPING COLD BEERS.

HAVING TO TAKE A HUGE LEAK I WALKED INTO THE FIRST MEN’S ROOM (YUP THEY WERE STILL CALLING THEM THAT BACK THEN) I SAW 100 TOILETS WITH 100 MEN IN FRONT OF EACH ONE AND SO I LEFT.

WALKED ANOTHER 50 FEET UNDER THE STANDS WHERE I FOUND ANOTHER ONE. SAME 100 TOILETS BUT INSTEAD ONLY ME! BOY WAS I IN HOG HEAVEN! BUT THEN I  REALIZED THAT MOST HUMANS ARE JUST ONE OR THE OTHER OF THE ABOVE!

Socialist understand that in a democracy socialism has to be imposed equally. Ultimately that will require an international solution. For example while the UK managed to export 1 million of it citizens to the EU it imported 3 million EU citizens. This left an extra 2 million sucking off of the UK social system resulting in increasing costs and decreasing services!

This would be one of the main causes that lead to BREXIT. Certainly there were others. But the International Socialist movement and their media allies have been working very hard over the last few years to reverse this result!

But I would argue that while the USA continues its decline that the EU will need to take a more nationalistic approach in order to defend itself from the country that started this “socialist” trend! NASA WOULD THEN MOVE ON TO THE SPACE SHUTTLE WHICH NEVER CAME CLOSE TO LIVING UP TO NASA’S PROMISES AND WENT DOWN IN FLAMES IN ANOTHER FEEL GOOD TEACHER IN SPACE PR EFFORT. NOT ONLY SHOULD IT NOT HAVE BEEN LAUNCHED ON THE DAY IT WAS BUT IT SHOULD NEVER HAVE INCLUDED A CIVILIAN!

Apparently all-beef patties are creating an even bigger problem with climate change than our own ploppers are!

Over the last several years I’ve been eating way less beef as it has gotten relatively more expensive than chicken and pork! I’ve assumed that this was because of the increasing use of corn in creating bio fuels.  

So the USA should be imposing a federal fart tax on the trillions and trillions of hamburgers sold. I know The Donald loves his Mickey D’s but certainly he could afford to pay another dime or so for his Mac attack!

This is just my 2 cents, Invest or “no pun” flush! 

I mean that in both meanings of the word. I am a fast but safe driver who has never caused an accident. But over the last decade I have become an increasingly angry driver with the corresponding increase in distracted drivers.

Adding fuel to the fire is all of the new speed bumps, stop signs, 25 MPH speed limits and the sequencing of traffic lights that force you to stop every two feet. Really pisses me off!!!

Recently my wife told me that she used to like driving with me but not so much lately. I thought about this for a few days and decided that it wasn’t because I had become a bad driver but instead that she had become a bad passenger!

Jim Crow would then impose a social enslavement on our black citizens. These citizens have never been fully integrated into our society and unfortunately the millions of illegal immigrant are impacting on our ability to accomplish this as much and as fast as possible.

Western style socialist democracies are using increasing quantities of debt to sustain their citizen’s standard of living. In the USA we are running a huge deficit with Medicare health costs and even the interest payments on our national debt* could outstrip Medicare debt. If the West fails to fix this you should expect a global economic collapse within the next decade. This will be a long term depression as the West will be unable to borrow its way out of it as it did with the Great Recession of 2008. Banks and others that were saved by TARP will fail this time around exacerbating and accelerating this crash. Asia lead by China will then become the Economic world leader and as they say “He who has the gold rules”.  

* The almost 3 trillion dollar Social Security surplus is being applied against the national debt and as that is paid out to retirees our debt will increase accordingly!

IN ORDER FOR A DEMOCRACY TO THRIVE THE VOTERS MUST HAVE A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF OUR LEADERS REAL INTENTIONS. THIS HAS BEEN A CHALLENGE AS OUR POLITICIANS HAVE RESISTED AND CONTINUE TO RESIST BEING LABELED ACCURATELY.

IN THE PAST THEY LABELED THEMSELVES AS EITHER LIBERAL OR CONSERVATIVE. THE REALITY WAS THAT THE SO CALLED LIBERALS WERE ACTUALLY SOCIALISTS AND THE CONSERVATIVES WERE IN FACT CONSERVATIVE SOCIALISTS.

Beginning this year, Social Security will pay out more money from their trust fund than they will take in to the fund. Unless things change they will deplete this fund by 2034. What that means for people born after 1968 is that every single dollar YOU have put into Social Security for YOUR retirement will have been given to someone else*. Perhaps another reason why there is a pyramid on the US dollar….
