“Cyclosporiasis is an illness of the intestines. It is caused by a parasite called Cyclospora cayetanensis. The parasite gets into the body from food (Lettuce) or water that has come into contact with human feces, also called stool. The parasite is unlikely to spread from person to person. You can get a cyclospora infection more than once. Cyclosporiasis symptoms can last for weeks or longer. Symptoms can come back after you start to feel better.” MAYO.
More likely it is migrant workers shitting on what you eat! One of the downsides of free trade is that you lose control over the production of your food to other countries who may not give a crap about where their workers are taking a crap! Or perhaps they are watering their crops with sewerage? Who knows! The worst food poisoning I ever had was from the home of the whopper which I renamed appropriately the plopper!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
