My wife had an Amniocentesis with our youngest daughter and after she delivered the nurse told us that they had a woman who delivered a perfectly heathy boy when they had been expecting to deliver a girl with Down syndrome. We were shocked when she said that they were waiting for a women who was told that she was going to have a healthy boy who was actually going to have a girl with Down syndrome. We dodged that bullet!
