The issue here isn’t that they support the existence of Israel but rather what form it takes: One State or Two States!
Are these folks Religious Jews or Nationalistic Jews or both? If you ask these same folks if it is okay for Israel to have nuclear weapons is it okay for Egypt, Jordon, or Saudi Arabia to have them also? If not why not? Is it okay for Israel to occupy Gaza and/or Lebanon? Should American taxpayers continue to give billions of dollars to Israel? For a hundred years the democrats have had a hammerlock on the Jewish vote but Trump has succeeded in undercutting their monopoly with their religious right!
