“Canada’s Supreme Court has been ridiculed after ruling that referring to a female sexual assault victim as a “woman” was confusing and the term “person with a vagina” should be used instead. Canada’s oldest rape shelter told The Telegraph it followed a trend of “erasure of the violence that men are committing against women”.
The other erasure is people with a vagina having to compete against people with a penis and so one assumes that calling it women’s sports according to Canada’s Supreme’s would be equally confusing! I can’t help but think that even Karl Marx would find all of this equally confusing as well. Frankly it’s amazing how social media has changed the gender landscape in the West!
