As the leader of the free world job one is to protect Americas ability to do this job! As the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Michael G. Mullen, was fond of saying, (America’s) national debt has become perhaps our top national security threat. And neither major presidential candidate is doing enough about it.
For the democrats the challenge is spending while for the Republicans it is raising taxes! At some point in the near future the voters will be facing a guns or butter problem and unfortunately both parties voters are likely to choose butter over guns leaving the western democracies increasingly leaderless!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
