The Greenhead’s want to tax the richest nations to help pay for the poorest country’s transition to green energy. Failing this they want to tax the fossil fuel companies or to provide reparations to countries that have suffered from the effects of climate change! Nowhere in this conversation is the creation of a carbon tariff on products that were produced using fossil fuels! Nowhere is the conversation about green nuclear only wind and solar which doesn’t work 100% of the time!
Now while the developed world has reduced its consumption of carbon the developing world is outstripping this reduction effectively increasing carbon output and making climate change even worse. Of the top 5 GDP countries in the world both China and India #2 and #5 respectively are expecting countries with smaller GDP’s to help them pay for their green transitions all the while increasing their military budgets!
