In the year 2000 JFK was rated the eighth best president by Historians who rated IKE the ninth best President! In 2009 they would rate JFK the sixth best President to Ike’s eighth place finish. It wasn’t until 2017 that the academics began to get thing right when JFK was rated less great in 8th place versus Ike’s 5th place finish. How these guys can rate JFK so high when he mishandled the Bay of Pigs invasion which almost came to a nuclear confrontation and the green lighting of the assassination of Ngo Dinh Diem which lead to our involvement in Vietnam is beyond me.
But in 1962 the idiot academics had ranked IKE at 21st best President likely because Ike was a Republican who beat their favorite son Adlai Stevenson twice for the Presidency! Having gone to college for a degree in Politics and Economics finding a conservative Republican political professor on campus is even more difficult than finding a virgin in a whore house!
