No we are not talking about our borders which has a greater than 10% chance of starting another civil war in America but rather about open or closed AI.
While the democracies are promoting a closed AI system the dictators are promoting an open system! So the closed system in the good actor democracy’s blocked its use by a bad actor to develop biological systems. Why do we believe then that the bad actor dictators would not sell their open AI system to another bad actor to develop them also? They would just hide behind the excuse that they had nothing to do with it much like they did with COVID! Who would we prefer to win the AI war the West or the East? If its the West then don’t listen to Bernie! Musk, Altman and Amodie are reacting to domestic US politics which China does not have!
