WAR DEAD

A robot named Lightning has run the 100m in 9.32 seconds, beating the human world record, China’s state broadcaster ‌has reported. The humanoid, developed by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Honor, ‌reached a peak speed of 14.5 metres per second during ‌a test event for the second World Humanoid Robot Games, which began on Saturday. The performance surpassed the 9.58sec men’s 100m world record set by Usain Bolt 17 years ago at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin.” Guardian UK.

I watched the Robot Games and saw Humanoid Robots run and jump faster and higher then humans can! “The U.S. government spends approximately $140,000 to $170,000 per year to cover a single active-duty soldier’s basic compensation, housing, and healthcare.” Google AI. Even if a Robot gets shot and killed while fighting in a war with China you still haven’t suffered any real casualties! Can you build one of these for less than $170,000?

And that is all I’m going to say about that!
