A hundred years later the cockeyed optimists in the American Empire believed that they could preserve the peace by letting Xi’s China become the world’s leading manufacturer.
Britain’s cockeyed pessimist Churchill would save the world for democracy with the help of Stalin and FDR! This happened because Hitler made the mistake of attacking the Soviet Union and Tojo would make the same mistake by attacking the USA! Are there any cockeyed pessimists in the West who will step forward to defend democracy or is it already too late? The optimists will tell you that China will not be the next world leader! YUP.
