Wouldn’t it be great when the Times publishes a column whose topic features Israel that they declare themselves to be Jewish owned! Even better declaring that the writer is also Jewish as well. Thomas Friedman who is jewish wrote an opinion that NYC Mayor Mamdani who is Muslim was wrong to threaten Netanyahu with arrest.
Friedman argues that what Bibi is selling is a forever war but frankly as much as jewish people would tell you that they have been fighting a series of wars in fact Israel has been fighting one long 80 year war in a series of increasingly deadly battles. In the past America “pretended” to be a fair arbitrator but Trump has dropped that pretense entirely! As for Mamdani other than Fran Lebowitz what other jewish New Yorker voted for him?
