The folks who advocate for these are effectively saying that the voters aren’t competent enough to make the correct decision! Not a great endorsement of democracies but as we continue to lower the voting age maybe they will make more sense! I remember a democrat in Massachusetts running for Congress on Term Limits who promised to run for only 4 terms but was re-elected for a 5th and 6th term! So maybe its just the idiot Massachusetts democrat voters who aren’t capable of controlling a democracy.
God would eventually impose a term limit on FDR although it does beg the question of where the so-called free press was on his dead man walking presidential run for a 4th term! Maybe that is where the problem lies after all do democracy’s really die in darkness? Once again we recently saw the exact same media performance with another democrat president! Or perhaps what we really need to do here is to raise the voting age? Let only people with a whole working brain vote instead!
