“Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an executive order creating the “Office of Gun Violence Reduction” on Thursday. He said, “From day one in office, my number one priority has been driving down violence and breaking the cycles of trauma and despair which have disrupted the lives of countless Chicagoans—with this executive order we are bringing together every tool at our disposal to save lives and build safer communities.” FOX. Does the Mayor understand that is why he has a police force? More likely this is about gun reduction!
The Chicago Mayor wanted to remove Washington’s statue from City Hall but I’m sure that his fellow white democrats told him that was literally throwing the baby out with the bathwater! Things aren’t bad enough here yet to justify this but you understand where the Party of Color is headed! PBS did a program on Washington where they basically gave George a pass but suggested that going after the other slave owning founding fathers was perfectly okay! The real issue here isn’t whether they were perfect but rather who accomplished more good for the human race! Let’s have that discussion first before we start teardown statues.
