“The American and French Revolutions were both rooted in Enlightenment ideals, driven by severe financial crises from warfare, and motivated by a desire to overthrow absolute/oppressive monarchies. Both produced foundational declarations of rights and replaced traditional monarchical structures with republican governments.” Google AI. The American Revolution would inspire the French Revolution but unfortunately for the French version the mob would take control over events which in turn would lead them to an Emperor. Now after 250 years America’s revolution is just beginning to look more like the French version.
“The Russian (1917) and German (1918) Revolutions were both sparked by the devastating impacts of World War I, leading to the collapse of imperial monarchies. In both cases, the momentum was driven by war-weary working classes and military mutinies in major industrial centers.” Google AI. For very different reasons the Russian Revolution (Marxist) would inspire the German Revolution (Fascist) but both would be driven by their respective mobs, and both would eventually fail for two very different reasons.
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
