Columbia will once again require standardized test scores for undergraduate applicants, beginning in August 2027, the University announced Friday. With the change, Columbia is the final Ivy League school to reinstate test score requirements, which most universities made optional in 2020. The revision comes after a multiyear faculty review which found that test scores were a “useful indicator of potential student success,” Columbia Spectator.
The Public School Teachers Union wanted to kill the SAT’s and what better way to do this then to kill their requirement for college admission! No coincidence then that they were also expecting a democrat in the White House to help with this by blaming it all on the Trumpandemic! Unfortunately as every public school student received straight A’s there was no way for Columbia or anyone else to differentiate between smart students and students who were real dunces!
