HERO

The local Georgia sheriff stated that the 4 dead and 9 wounded students were all heroes! The “H” word is very overused and abused and I’m sorry but they weren’t heroes but instead only victims! Now had the idiot father purchased his son a grenade and one of his victims had fallen on it then that person should rightly be called a hero! But unfortunately failure very much continues to be an option in America’s schools and elsewhere!

So instead of talking about heroes let’s talk about failures! How did this kid get into a school with a rifle? When he entered the building where were the 2 resource officers/cops? When he changed schools was anyone at his new school informed about his FBI visit? Let’s not turn this into another absurd Boston Strong event instead of calling it for what it is just another failure of leadership!

And that is all I’m going to say about that!
