Asylum Seeker

“Seeking asylum is a human right and every person in the world has the right to apply for asylum if they are fleeing conflict or persecution. They must not be expelled or returned to situations where their lives or freedoms would be in danger. This is the principle of non-refoulement which is enshrined in the 1951 Refugee Convention. It is also part of human rights law and customary international law and must be guaranteed by all countries.” UNHCR

Way better if you are an Asylum Seeker than just a plain old refugee! However once that Asylum Seeker leaves its country of origin it is no longer under threat in its former country and should be declared a plain old refugee but not stopping there they want to immigrate to countries that are wealthy and can give them more stuff! Who can blame them!

And that is all I’m going to do about that!
