Back in the day The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour was the only news show that I watched as their focus was on the quality of the news as opposed to the quantity of the news put out by NBC, ABC and CBS. I haven’t watched the PBS News Hour for sometime now as it has become blatantly partisan!
MacNeil was Canadian who while reporting from Dallas may have asked Lee Harvey Oswald where the nearest pay phone was as he were exiting the Book Depository! Today I watch the BBC which features fewer stories about America and as a result I spend way less time swearing at my idiot box!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
