My Father was a legal immigrant who would serve in the US NAVY during WW 2. Joe Biden received criticism during his 2020 presidential campaign for his five student draft deferments and never served. When given the opportunity to elect Vietnam veterans (Al Gore, McCain, and John Kerry), the US electorate chose not to do so.
With the all-volunteer United States Armed Forces of 2018 comprising 0.5 percent of the US populace, there has been a complete disconnect between service to country versus the country servicing it citizens! America is displaying all of the symptoms of a nation in decline! Who will replace us as leader of the free or perhaps the non-free world?
