Remember Quality Time? Didn’t work! Nothing beats spending quantity time with your kids. When my daughter started school they put her into the advanced class and then discovered that she wasn’t advanced. Turns out that because my wife was an at home mother who spent quantity hours with her she appeared to be more advanced then most of her quality time classmates!
She would go on to an Ivy League school and eventually graduate with a PhD in Engineering! In fact between my 3 kids they have 4 Masters Degrees and 1 PhD. This whole quality time vs. Quantity was just a coping mechanism so that Boomers could rationalize choosing to buy a house with a 2 car garage over renting and staying home!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
