Great show and without a doubt Norman Lear’s best series! Lear claims that Archie was based on his Father but I’m not buying this as most Jews don’t consider themselves to be white people for some very understandable reasons! This was the beginning of the Left going after white supremacists and Lear in my opinion was just providing himself some cover in the process.
The fact is that white southern democrats were all too slow in integrating their communities and schools, while white northern democrat unions did the same with their membership! It’s a shame that these white supremacists would then be integrated into Trump’s Republican party!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
