I understand completely why the British Empire after the war to end all wars did not want to fight another war with Germany again! But you do have to ask yourself why there was no real discussion at the time about the fact that the allies had imposed a peace treaty that would very likely lead to a do over!
President’s Clinton, Bush, and Biden supported free trade with China because it would turn China into a democracy. But once again no real discussion about that failure either. This was America’s version of peace in our time but unfortunately this time around the democracy’s will not eventually prevail.
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
