Emmett Till was slaughtered to death after wolf whistling a white woman in Mississippi. The woman he whistled at just died the other day but while she got live a full 88 years Till was killed at the tender age of 14. Not likely that Emmett Till and Carolyn Bryant Donham will ever meet again in heaven!
For over 100 years white democrats called all the shots in the south and so the statues of their confederate heros went up everywhere after the 1870’s. That is when Jim Crow and the KKK would take hold. Had we let slavery run its course for several more years while avoiding a civil war perhaps things would have gone better for all concerned!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
