Jerry who is Jewish was taking offense at Dave Chappelle’s comments that there were a lot of Jews in Hollywood. To say that Hollywood was founded by Jewish people would not be a bit of a stretch at all and frankly one that many Jewish people would and should take some pride in!
But when Chappelle says like a lot of Jews what exactly does that mean? Jewish people account for 2.4% of the USA’s population so is a lot 5%, 10%, 25% or more? Take for example that 60% of the Hollywood Ten were Jewish, that strikes me as a lot! Jerry’s wife thinks that Dave was being anti-Semitic but was Dave only being statistically correct? Depends on what you believe a lot means!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
