Had Smith sat in his chair and just told Rock not to F’IN talk about his wife that may have been one thing but of course he didn’t. I understand that his wife is folically challenged but she could have very easily played the black version of Demi Moore in GI Jane 2. Maybe Smith was making a political statement as the original movie featured Jane being waterboarded!
But lets say that Will Smith’s son had been diagnosed with Proteus Syndrome and Rock had said that he was looking forward to seeing him in Elephant Man 2 would that have justified Will Smith’s behavior? Now that i’m thinking about this maybe someone should write a script titled The Elephant Man meets GI Jane and they can cast the whole family in it! Will can play the slap happy sergeant who waterboards the Elephant Man!
