General Lloyd Fredendall was considered by Army Chief of Staff George Marshall as a brilliant officer who was not battle tested when given the command of the US Army in North Africa at Kasserine Pass which became a huge failure of command. You have no idea how well someone is going to handle combat until they are actually faced with it!
Today if you are a white cop and kill a black person you are a racist, but if you are a black cop and kill a black person you were not trained properly. Just before WW 2 there was a huge training exercise which was clearly not the same as real world experience! Unfortunately sometimes folks either run or resist and die. Perhaps the cop should never have become a cop! Perhaps if there were fewer guns or cop killers this would help as well but until then FREEZE!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
