One extreme is that you are a tactical doer who is a bleeding heart while the other extreme is that you are a strategic thinker who is a cold hearted SOB! Certainly there are times when you need to listen to one or the other! When things in the world are stable listen the tactician but when things are being disrupted listen to the strategist!
General Custer deployed brilliant tactics at Appomattox Courthouse but implemented a disastrous strategy at Little Big Horn. The tacticians have been running America in the new century and behold, seven other cows came up after them out of the River, ugly and lean of flesh. And the ugly and lean cows ate up the seven handsome and fat cows. We have seen 20 lean years which will be followed by 20 ugly years!
