Who’s on first? Clearly not the World Health Organization who have finally been allowed into China to investigate the start of the pandemic there some 12 months after it began. Unfortunately when it comes to pandemics failure is not an option and it begs the question of what Western leadership will do to punish China for continuing to be less than transparent.
Given Biden’s track record of pursuing a multi-lateral council of war type of approach the West will be slapping a band-aid on this Chinese covid tumor and will let future Western leaders to pick up the pieces when it does happen again which of course it will. One can only hope for the WHO’s sake that the next pandemic will begin somewhere other than China!
But hey better a moral failure than a complete failure!
