This private women’s health organization does a lot of good things but unfortunately it’s emphasis has gotten overtly political as opposed to having a stronger health focus. This can be seen in the recent replacement of a talented leader and medical doctor who wanted the organization to get back to basics. For this reason I would prefer that the Federal Government not give them taxpayer dollars.
Planned Parenthood reminds me of another women’s organization known as the Temperance League who having failed to impose temperance on America, strapped on sheep’s clothing and became the Anti-Salon Folks. The resulting Prohibition frankly created more problems than it solved. Like the Temperance ladies I suspect that the Parenthood ladies ultimate hidden agenda is the right for abortion on demand for any reason at anytime!
And that is all I’m going to say about that.
