The biggest threat to western democracy is the huge debt load it is carrying. In America this is the result of the Iraq war, the housing bubble crash and the current pandemic. The out of control social media environment coupled with a global depression will provide enormous challenges to democratic institutions moving forward!
The overwhelming degree of social, economic and political disruption in the world and especially in America begs the question of whether the USA experiences a French type of revolution driven by plaintiff lawyers or Instead will the world see another even larger global war! Unfortunately American media has been so overly focused on Trump that we are not seeing the forest for the trees. Trump is just the proverbial pimple on the world’s ass. The left if not for the pandemic would be dancing in the streets now that Biden has won but unfortunately no one is asking if he is up to meeting these future challenges. We think not!
