Sorry folks but the last thing the country needs is another federal holiday. That said I’m sure that all the government workers would appreciate another day off. As for the States and Cities that are adopting Juneteenth as a holiday let’s walk the talk and get rid of Columbus Day at the same time.
The fact is that every company that I have worked for has never given me Martin Luther King Day as a holiday, while some have given me Columbus Day. Before we start adding another less than celebrated black holiday shouldn’t we all jump on the MLK holiday bandwagon first?
And that is all I’m going to say about that.
