Let’s say that you go to a restaurant that has a menu with no prices on it and instead of asking what the price is you assume the price for it are of course going to be reasonable so you don’t ask the server. At the end of the dinner you ask for the check which you assume will be about 200 bucks but it turns out to be 2000 bucks and you refuse to pay it.
But let’s say that the restaurant is owned by Xi and Putin and the choice they give you is to either pay the 2 large or die and because they just won world war 3 you are going to pay whatever they decide to charge you. Unfortunately until the Chinese and Russians present the bill for the West’s stupidity in believing that trade would turn them into democrats, the democracies still have no clue just how stupid they really were!
