If I was going to give a speech to the High School class of 2026 I would say that I was only going to speak today to the 20% of the class who were driven more by creativity than the 80% by knowledge! Today 80% of the class who make the honor roll and also have a trunk load of trophies for coming in last place while I never made the honor roll nor received a trophy either!
Einstein said that Creativity was way more important than Knowledge and when you understand just how revolutionary his work was you understand why he said it! The future will increasingly belong to the Creative because the Knowledgable are going to be replaced by AI. Unfortunately our monopolistic unionized public schools are teaching less of this because creative kids are only 20% of the total student population. If we were smart (which we aren’t) we would end the government run school monopoly!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
