“Ford revealed this afternoon that it intends to seriously pull back on its EV ambitions in favor of hybrid and extended range electric vehicles, cancelling several fully electric models and shifting products for two plants. It also announced its intention to offer battery storage solutions for residential homes. The automaker expects the pivot to cost $19.5 billion.” Ford Authority.
The Left threw tons of tax money at EV’s but they were a bridge too far, so now Detroit is pushing Hybrids! At some point we need to stop listening to the Klimate Khange Kids and develop a sensible long term strategy which includes Nuclear Power. Perhaps we should have gone for half a loaf and threw tax money at new Hybrids instead of EV’s, seems like it would have been a more reasonable compromise!
