Not a big fan of Rob Reiner’s socialist politics but I had just seen his Father Carl on a Johnny Carson rerun last week! I’m reminded of a similar incident some years back across the street from my future wife’s home when the youngest son drove an ax into the back of his Fathers head and then headed into his parents bedroom with a knife and killed his Mother as well.
I also remember when my brother came close to being shot by a drug addled robber while working nights in a Deli in the Bronx. There has got to be a better way to handle the treatment of addicts besides blowing up speed boats in the Caribbean! Unfortunately nothing will change and these kinds of tragic events will only continue!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
