The Bear and HACKS are both excellent shows but neither are comedies and both should have been competing for dramatic awards. When I think of real comedies they include shows like Seinfeld, The King of Queens and Everybody Loves Raymond! Today comedies have to be politically correct according to the standards imposed by 16 year olds on social media! As a result Hollywood doesn’t make them anymore! So in order for the Emmy Awards to field a full slate of comedy’s they are forced to include non-funny shows like The Bear and Hacks!
