“Starbucks workers at 65 unionised US stores have gone on strike in their latest bid to pressure the coffee chain for better pay and staffing after negotiations stalled. The union, Starbucks Workers United, is also pushing the company to resolve hundreds of unfair labour practice charges.” BBC.
No surprise here the Union folks want more money and staff so they can do less work and make more money for doing the same job! Bernie the Bolshevik is advocating the same agenda with his 32 hour work week for the same 40 hour pay! Starbucks is also being squeezed by Mickey D’s on the lower end and Dunkin’ D’s on the higher end!
