Perhaps had “W” and Dick served in Vietnam the War on Terror would have been handled differently we will never know but what we do know is that its mishandling was instrumental to the emergence of both MAGA and The Donald. I don’t think that Cheney was ever happy with how Iraq #1 ended without the ouster of Saddam and of course as NEPO George pointed out Saddam tried to kill his Daddy!
I remember Time Magazine putting a picture of Wolfowitz of Iraq on its cover and recognized that Non-Jewish Americans had absolutely no control over what is today best described as the 77 Year War between Jews and Muslims! Mind you both Bush and Cheney who got my vote the first time was also the last time I voted for them or anyone else who voted for Iraq #2.
