General Patton advocated that the allies team up with the Germans to defeat the Soviet Union after WW 2. At that time we had an exclusive on the nuclear bomb and could have avoided the nuclear confrontation that developed with the mass murderer Stalin! Had Patton succeeded perhaps we could have won in China, Korea and Vietnam as well. Will never know but it does make you wonder if Europe would not now be facing a war with Russia and America with China?
The Left in the USA and Germany advocated for Peace thru Trade with Putin and Xi on the naive assumption that it would turn the dictators into democrats which clearly has been a huge failure! In the end Lenin was correct that Communism would sell the democracies the rope that they would use to hang themselves with but ironically it would take the capitalistic communist country China to figure out how to make the rope strong enough to do this with!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
